So we got there shortly after they opened (Saturday morning), and there was a line around the building. Only to realize, when we got to the front, that the line was to put us on a reservation list, which was a 3-3 1/2 hour wait. Eventually, we got notified that our table was ready. The food came out fast, and I believe the pancakes were worth the wait, though some would disagree. Our server was going through the motions; he was turning away before I responded to his question...
We waited for 2 hours to get a table—that’s fine. But it’s really frustrating that they only give you 10 minutes after sending the “table is ready” message. I mean, come on, who wants to hang around Chinatown for 2 hours just to not miss their turn? They should give at least 15–20 minutes.
