This bakery is always reliable and comforting start to my day. They have such a large selection of buns and other savory options such as stir fried noodles and fried rice. There’s always the standard teas and coffee options but also happy to have red bean ice drink and other blended drinks for a refreshing pick me up. It’s hard to choose, so best to get a little of everything. I love how fresh they are throughout the day even days when you catch them right before closing.

This place is my new go-to after Hop Shing closed. Everything I've tasted there from the pork buns (roasted and steamed), sponge cake, egg tart, to the buns are delicious. By far my favorite is the mexican bun. It is the softest, fluffiest thing I have ever tried and has a thin layer of sugar on top that just caps it off...amazing. They also have a great century "1000 year" egg.

If you're staying anywhere near here, this is the place to get your coffee. Last year's trip to NYC, we made the mistake of going to Cafe Grumpy every morning for coffee, so this time I got our coffee every seven days of our visit at Golden Manna Bakery. Great basic coffee, and fast service. We were told the local workers in China Town go here. Thank you Hotel Mimosa for the recommendation!
