Shrimp fried rice was just rice. What happened to the shrimp small shrimp. They should name that dish rice dish with some shrimp. The food was cold, not even warm. The price was reasonable. For the amount of rice they gave.
The restaurant decor was elegant and traditional. There were cart services, which was so cool, and there was so much to try. We had to be mindful, not to eat too much all at once. I liked the egg custard, which was soft and lightly sweet. The mushroom and tufu dish were unbelievably savoury.
Very tasty dim sum and efu noodles. Long waits on weekends especially during morning hours.
Pro tip: If there is a long line inside, go around to their take-away and there is no line.
They have some of the best har gow and shumai I have had in a. long time. Har gow is my favorite dim sum - theirs is giant and delicious. Their shumai has tender pork and includes shrimp. Service was fast and everything was delicious
Just landed in NY today and came to this restaurant through recommendations. Unfortunately Fried Hor Fun has no “wokhey”. 腸粉skin is thick, meat is tasteless and presentation is terrible. 醉排骨is mainly deep fried yam with several small pieces of pork ribs and no taste of wine at all. I probably have set my expectations too high.

Unique place. Dim Sum was excellent. Hubby is Cantonese & said very authentic. Steamed Custard pig buns are cute & delicious. Definitely good experience.

Very fancy Chinese restaurant
In our case the food was nice and tasty
The only thing we did not like it is they do not have baby changing pads or any space for it.
My husband got the pork with Pekín spice and he really enjoyed it
I had rice with veggies and it was really nice
The portions are big
The tea in the table it is exquisite
Vegetarian options: Veggies in different ways and fried rice with veggies
Kid-friendliness: No really
The staff was very nice with him but not baby seat and no baby changing table

An interesting and varied tasting formula, except for the obligatory dessert which was reduced to a mini mini tartlet resembling more of a bite, good but much too small.
Service too fast, no time to finish a tasting before the next one arrives; Unpleasant room staff, abrupt service and clearing.
Finally, the Tsing tao at $10 is frankly excessive. Softs at 3 is correct.

The food was great! If you are not super familiar with the menu, you have to trust your servers who simply make dim sum recommendations and plop them on the lazy Susan in front of you. Everything was delicious!

We went for dim sum and the food tasted fine. However, after we finished eating and went to pay the bill, one of the employees who was in charge of collecting payment haggled my friend on how much she tipped because she didn't speak Cantonese. I saw what was happening when I came out of the restroom and immediately intervened. Fortunately, I'm able to speak Cantonese so I asked the cashier what the issue was because we tipped adequately and I'm guessing the fact I came out of nowhere and was able to speak Cantonese spooked her because she started rambling about how we're supposed to tip enough for the waiters/waitresses and for the managers working the floor, which made absolutely no sense. Not to mention, tipping is completely voluntary to begin with, but restaurants seem to forget this. I didn't accept her explanation and blatantly asked her how much she expected us to tip in Cantonese to see what she was expecting, but of course she didn't answer. Ultimately, this was when a manager nearby saw what was happening and said it was fine for us to go. Just be wary of them haggling you for the amount you tip after your meal is finished especially if you aren't a native Cantonese speaker!
