Local for 6 months to watch Knicks games. Would show up 2x a week. Arrived 2 hours before the Knicks game to get a seat at the bar. Ordered 2 rounds & attempted to order food. 3 minutes before the game starts, the manager decided to kick me and 3 other guest out our seats. Stated it was “reserved” for his “friends”. Being a local, they always label the seats that are “reserved”. Bar was packed & did not offer a new seat. Insisted that if we were to stay, we have to stand. Unprofessional and do not accommodate paying customers. I would not recommend this bar because at any moment you can loose your seat. Manager would rather run up a free tab with his “friends”.

Too loud music, very hetero sports bar. The food was very bland, the service wasnt so slowest or the quickest. Not for the artsy or queers
Booked this bar for a private event and the staff was extremely rude and passive aggressive. At first they weren’t even letting a majority of our group inside despite having the entire bar reserved. Don’t waste your money here.
Best fried pickles ever
Had a great morning breakfast today at Goldies Tavern went on this Sunday with the ex wifey
after watching a concert on Saturday. We were the first there me It’s rare to be in a populated area near Madison Square Garden and be the first in and not have too much of a crowd, but there were no events going on so it was a slow Sunday Love the atmosphere here a lot of sports TVs & old bar and grill feel the staff were very friendly, cheerful happy and we’re very welcoming to us. We were offered water and other options to drink from Kristen and Chris. It almost felt like over personalized service because we were the only ones in the restaurant and they were waiting on us hand and foot. they were both friendly, kind and humorous They shared stories of the area and of the tavern. This is a really convenient location because it’s right next to a great hotel and only one block from Madison Square Garden. The food was scrumptious and delicious. I had eggs Benedict with a side of sausage and my lovely wife had avocado toast with hash browns . The overall experience and food were great. Would definitely recommend if you’re staying in the area or you just visiting MSG I suggest you pop in the staff and the food are great and the atmosphere is energetic and friendly.
The place is amazing, very clean, the service is excellent and the staff are friendly and nice, the food is amazing and delicious, they have different types of food, you can choose what you want easily, you can watch football while they prepare your food. The experience was amazing and I recommend everyone to try this place.
Don't forget to bring your partner to have more fun.
Great spot for afterwork events!
Brilliant loved it after a hard day shopping. Wings are great
We were staying at the Courtyard Marriot next door over the past week and we stopped in at Goldie's and returned a second night because everything was that damn good! The cocktail drinks are strong & tasty. The Chicken Caesar is fantastic. Garlicky and homemade dressing is definitely a game changer. The Chopped Cheese Empanadas were also homemade. Fantastic flavor paired with the tomato aioli for dipping. Don't skip out on Goldie's when in NYC. A gem right up the road from MSG & Penn Station.

Wow. Love this place!! The empanadas and steak frites were soooo good! Awesome vibe and service was great. Will def be back for more games!
In town from out of state, looking for a place to have a few drinks, some food and watch the football games. The vibe and atmosphere are pretty nice. There’s a good amount of tv’s with a good selection of games playing. That’s about the best of it. The service is mediocre. The food, or at least what we sampled of it, is sub-par. We ordered the Bavarian pretzels as an appetizer and it took close to 45 minutes to come out. It was supposed to come with beer cheese and honey mustard. After the close to 45 minute wait, we were served three pretzel rods with the beer cheese. No honey mustard. We asked about the honey mustard and were informed they stopped carrying it a few months ago. Maybe update the menu? Or at least let us know the menu offering has changed. The pretzels themselves weren’t bad but the beer cheese was lukewarm and gritty. Possibly separated. We got our check and moved on. Perhaps the rest of the food is better but our experience was severely lacking. We won’t be coming back or recommending this establishment.
Great local sports bar. Super friendly service and the food was excellent.
I was having an event, at a location that was across the street from Goldie’s. Due to a communication error, we needed to change venues- literally 30 minutes before the start time. In stepped Goldie’s. The staff could not have been nicer, more accommodating, or more helpful.
What could have been a disaster was a wonderful evening. The service was great, the food was delicious, and the celebratory lemon drops were much appreciated.
I’m grateful to Goldie’s for the hospitality and highly recommend.
