Typically love Gong Cha. This location had an absolutely surly employee. It says it opens at 10:30 and I went by at 10:45 to it closed. She was obviously not prepared to open on time. I placed an online order at 11:10. Race in to pick up before catching my train at Grand Central and she was slowly prepping four drinks. She was still draining bobas and was in no rush to get anything done. What normally takes any other shop 5mins to prepare, took her almost TWENTY minutes. She was terrible and couldn’t care less about customer service. Highly recommend going elsewhere.
Very rude service. When I ordered this bottle, I specifically pointed at this bottle with this face. My order gets poured in a wrong bottle. I tell them it’s not the bottle I ordered. The manager says “oh I didn’t see the bottle you pointed at, but the drink’s already made” and refuses to move to a different bottle, let alone making a new drink. After asking a few times how I don’t want the bottle they gave me at all, the manager asks me which was the bottle I wanted, and asks me to pay 2 extra dollars again. I refuse bc it’s not my fault they got the wrong order. The manager then aggressively pours down the drink to the new bottle without even using a funnel. All my foams and fruits and bobas and stuff spill all over, and there are barely any of them left in the new bottle. The manager then fills up the rest merely with milk. I just wanted a cute drink to cheer up my vibe, not to ruin it completely.
I ordered their Vietnamese coffee with Boba a couple of weeks ago, loved it. Went back today, this other girl had an attitude told me they don't have that... I know I ordered it previously. If you didn't have it at the time, you could have said it in a nicer tone. Instead, she had me there like a jackass in front of all the other customers, like I made it up.
The best boba in nyc hands down

The store was supposed to open at 12:00. We waited until 12:20 and the employees never showed up in the store. We had to leave because Gong-Cha didn't work because employees didn't open on time.

Terrible service. Two female employees are really rude. It's good for your mental health not to go

Excellent bubble tea. I took the mango Milk Tea Series with 30 Sugar and Light Ice and it was great!!! The only problem is that there are only 2 tables to seat. ?
