I came here for salsa night while visiting NYC and had such a great time! The live band was incredible, and the energy on the dance floor was amazing. The cover charge is $20 (cash only!), but it was worth every penny. A perfect spot for anyone who loves live music and dancing!

This place said I couldn’t wear a hat which is ok but let somebody else and other people where hats. I felt I was discriminated against due to the fact I was the one who was constantly talked to about my hat but there were people I was with that had on hats and they weren’t spoken to as much. The security is beyond unprofessional.

It is always a 20$ cover for each person including women, and it is a MANDATORY $3 coat check l. It is clearly a place for money. Good live band but it was way too crowded to dance. It is a small place and doesn’t have room for the amount of people that want to go in. Also if you stand on the benches they will kick you out so just be aware of that.

NYC TREASURE!!! What an absolute gem from top to bottom the walls are seeping with wonderful energy. It is impossible to go and not have a good time. Highly recommend five stars all the way in every way. Joey is an iconic human. Carlito, hospitality well above par.

BEWARE OF MANDATORY COAT AND BAG CHECK FOR DANCE FLOOR- I went last night for salsa and was forced to check my leather jacket. I was so cold, my jacket completed the outfit, had pockets, and I felt insecure with out it. Obviously I did not want to fight with the workers and just trying to enjoy the night. But, I would have enjoyed this place much more if I wasn’t forced to take my jacket off.

Security was so rude! Was here with some friends for salsa lessons. After paying the $10 cover, the security guard inside told me I had to take my jacket off and leave it at coat check or I could not go in (mind you, it was cold in the city tonight and perfectly normal for someone to wear a jacket indoors - and it was a thin leather jacket so there was no way for me to hit someone with it). I asked if I could put my jacket in my tote bag (small tote bag, mostly empty) and the security guard said no. There was no explanation and he was giving me crazy attitude. I understand that he was trying to do his job but the attitude was uncalled for. Staff at coat check was rude too - asked me to go to the ATM to get a dollar because apparently it was cash only. OH HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO KNOW IM NOT ALLOWED TO WEAR A THIN LEATHER JACKET INDOORS IN FALL WEATHER? Ended up leaving, really should’ve asked for a refund.

I will never go back to this place AGAIN!! I was there for over 2 hour buying drinks and food and I couldn’t finish my drink bc I was told to take my hat off at I certain time and I refused. My pitch wasn’t even finished . I will never go back
It was Off the Hook! Do they still say that? lol Had a great night of dancing! Don't believe the negative reviews regarding the bouncers. They were on point and ensure the safety of patrons and staff alike. I'll definitely be back the next time in in lower Manhattan. Probably make a special trip!

The “security guard” by the entrance inside was so rude and didn’t explain anything that was going on, he just yelled at us multiple times. When the one outside didn’t mention any of the fees and was super nice, then the one inside pretty much kicked us out and was entitled and rude, we (group of 8) ended up walking away and going somewhere else because of him. I’ve been coming to this place for years even when they were at their old location and right now the new staff are just not it. Hopefully they can fix this issue.
