I moved to Harlem a year ago and the spots near me are overpriced and the food is terrible, so I took a chance on this place and was not disappointed. The food was fresh, the wings were big and meaty, not those little floury ones, the shrimp fried rice had real shrimp and was seasoned right, and the sweet tea was on point. The woman who took my order was so nice, she let me know it might take a little longer since I’m not close by, but honestly it came faster than the places around the corner. The food was so good I had to call back and tell her it was phenomenal. The service, the prices, and the food were immaculate. They definitely have a customer for life. If you want real, fresh, filling Chinese food like New York is known for, this is it right here.

I ordered: Beef with Broccoli over white rice: • WORST CHINESE FOOD I EVER TASTED (I don’t understand it’s how it has an over 4.0 score with a GRADE (A) — unfortunately it’s should be a ZERO and GRADE (F) and CLOSE • An over load on the Broccoli and barely any beef (if it was beef — definitely did not taste like beef) I do not like to waste food but this was my first time tossing it straight into the garbage, could/would not even give to my dog
Unfortunately the two people there are sweet and friendly but the quality of their food DISAPPOINTS TERRIBLY and I LOVVVVVVVE CHINESE FOOD but not here sadly

Chicken fried rice was bland , chicken wings almost raw, the worst chinese food. Also ,the only chinese takeout place ,to not give chopstick even when I asked.Also no hot oil sauce.Never ordering again from this seedy joint.Dont waste your money here.

Delivery guy is CRAZY. 1 hr passes after my delivery is completed and he returns to my apartment banging on my door and accusing me of giving him fake money. He yells at me to go downstairs and pay him again- which I DO- but he’s not even there. I WALK to the STORE and ask him how he even knows that it’s the money I used that’s counterfeit. He says he just does bc there wasn’t a lot of business. Sure. I pay him 20 AGAIN and never got an apology from him for banging on my door like a CRAZY PERSON for 10 minutes straight. There are other Chinese spots here in East Harlem, ones that wont harass you without any cause. Wont waste my business here anymore.

The food we ate was good however the driver who delivered our order, who we are assuming is the owner as he refused to let us speak to anyone else in regards to this issue, accused us of paying with counterfeit money an hour and a half after after we had received our order.He decided that the best way to correct this mistake was to loudly bang on our apartment door after dark for several minutes without saying who he was. When we confronted him at the store he claimed that he had delivered to two other addresses after us, and when we asked why he was claiming that the counterfeit money came from us he switched his story and claimed that business was so slow that he didn’t have any other deliveries than us.When we asked why he was banging so loudly and violently at the door an hour and a half after he had delivered he said that he thought we didn’t hear him when we didn’t answer because we thought a crazy person was outside trying to break into the apartment.When we asked why he didn’t check the money when we handed it to him, he claimed he trusted us to pay him properly. We will not be ordering from this place moving forward.Anyone ordering deliveries from this place please be careful!!! The driver lacks common sense and will not call or text if there are any issues. He will instead take matters into his own hands and approach you personally on his own.Edit: this incident happened over a $20 dollar bill. Ridiculous behavior over a situation that could’ve been handled easily if he had chosen to actually call and talk to us.

Whether I go pick up food at the store or order delivery, the food is always made to order and piping hot when I get it home. Some of the best Chinese food. I’d say not to judge their storefront by how it looks. The food is always good. Very nice people. It takes a minute to cook the food when you walk in and order, so be patient. Glad I stumbled on this spot when I moved to East Harlem. It’s a fave and I’m loyal to it forever ??

Just got my food last night from here and have to say it was OUTSTANDINGLY good. I ordered it an hour before close and got egg drop soup, the steamed dumplings were amazing!! And not too doughy and the inside was so good! And lastly got chicken and broccoli with fried rice and it was extremely FRESH and hot like where it was a noticeable difference. Staff was very professional and friendly and the lady working the counter was smiling and laughing it felt warm when you walked in if you know what I mean. Highly recommend if you’re near Harlem i had to give credit where credit is due! Will be back :)
