Long nights require thick slices of pizza. Gotham is dependable. Not the best slice in Manhattan, perhaps not even the best in the UES. But this spot is your workhorse, your beast of burden. Less Rachmaninoff than Bruno Mars.

And the Bruno Mars comparison is apt because they play the chorus of a Mars song on loop. A perfect sound to lull you into pizza eating fantasia.

Not the very best pizza in the city but fair prices and a lunch special at $6 for two plain and a Coke is unbeatable in today’s economy. Solid all around and a very nice staff to boot.

Pizza only. Which in my opinion I always get a better slice from a pizza only place than a place that has too much on the menu. Price point was good. Quality was great. I had a plain slice just to try it and I can say I will be back again.
