Unfortunately, we had a very unpleasant experience at your restaurant. While we understand the need to wait for a table, especially during busy times, we were treated rudely by your staff. After waiting 30 minutes, we were repeatedly moved around the restaurant in an unfriendly manner. When one of our party briefly sat at a recently vacated table, a waiter yelled at her that she couldn't sit until he cleaned it, even though she wasn't impeding his work. We understand the fast-paced nature of the NYC restaurant industry, but there's no excuse for treating guests with such disrespect. I'm sorry if the waiter had a bad day, but this behavior was highly unprofessional.

This place was so wonderful that me and my friend and I stumbled upon it on accident and wanted to recall where this place was so bad that we were on Google Maps trying to locate it. It left a mark on us. We want to go back bc the atmosphere is just laid back and chill. The bartenders and staff are just a breath of fresh air. We didn't know they served small dishes, but we enjoyed the wine! It's a small quaint space.

Stopped in on a Monday evening for just a glass of wine, of which the selection was lovely for a by-the-glass.Wasn’t able to taste any food but the music and environment was so lovely. Perhaps it’s not always as thinly populated but I certainly appreciated it.Staff was very friendly and kind.

Excellent wine bar with delicious Italian food options in a romantically lit Village bar. Seating is first come first served and definitely gets packed in the late nights but when we arrived at 8:30 on a Saturday there was an open table for 4.We ordered two bottles of wine and a dozen small plates. Anything with pesto is phenomenal. Their cheese selection is great! The crusty bread.and fresh ingredients really elevate the menu items. We loved the gorgonzola dip, pesto di Noci, pesce al cartoccio, cavoletti e Pecorino, lasagna Bolognese. The food is shareable and priced fairly so you can order many things. Gottino definitely prioritizes quality over quantity which we all appreciated.Their outdoor space is also well lit and a pleasant getaway in nice weather.

One of the friendliest places in the village. Elizabeth is the best.

The Arugula Pesto with aged Balsamic was absolutely incredible and so much better than most of the things that I ate in NY, all of which were MUCH more expensive. There just isn't a better place for a quiet evening in the area.

It’s mid-September and it’s the perfect weather in NYC…not too hot, not too cold..cool. Out for a walk I stumbled across Gottino. Feeling peckish I stopped in and grabbed a table for one in their garden. It was “brunch” time so the menu reflected the time I stopped in but there was enough to pick from that wasn’t all carbs and sweet. Started with picking the libation… perused the wine list and ordered a Nebbiolo. For my entree ordered the asparagus and goat cheese fittata. Everything was great. Quickly seated (they let me pick where) and there wasn’t an ungodly long time between ordering and actually eating. The frittata was just how I liked it. Crispy edges but a firm pillowy center. Perfectly sized and just delicious. I definitely will be back.

Have been trying to find an authentic Italian wine bar after coming back from Italy & this one is perfect. Cutest backyard with very chill vibe. Great wines on the menu as well as apperetivo. Lasagna was awesome & so was the prosciutto crepe. Judy was very knowledgeable about the wine menu, can’t wait to come back!!

Really delicious appetizer. Going back for more as the outdoor space was quiet enough to hold a conversation. So far so good. Feels like a hidden gem
