Great afternoon spent in Graces, the pints of Guinness were great. I really enjoyed the Galway hooker as well. We snacked on the dry rub wings with buffalo on the side and the sausages in a blanket. Very very good.
classic bar in chelsea/west village. hole in the wall that extends back a lot and is always packed on the weekend. you can host events in the back space if needed too. disco ball is always present and the happy hour is great. we went very late on a friday and it was still bumping. good drinks and better vibes. go with a group of friends or for date night.
Food is really good, nice variety of Irish and Irish-inspired dishes, including excellent lamb chops, chicken curry and fish sandwich. The soda bread is delicious but portion is VERY small. Irish bars uptown would give you a basket of it. There’s very good beer on tap, although only one IPA….the bar has a nice atmosphere and the servers are friendly, attentive and professional. The dark room in the back could use some refreshing, table stools are really uncomfortable after...
