Amazing experience. You have to visit.
Great range of food and drinks in Grand Central
Very nice and full of fresh and different foods. A bit overpriced though.
Has a lot of groceries, all high quality, not cost oriented.
I love popping in here every so often on my journeys and checking out the goods. Don’t forget to look up, that tree- chandelier is my favorite visual part of the market. They had a lovely variety of produce in the very front (street entrance, and also at the end). They have Li Lac chocolates here and Murray’s Cheese. At Murray’s, I picked up French butter, Beurre D’Isigny, I didn’t realize they carried this here. They had a few different kinds, in addition to salted and sweet options, there are some that are more local and those which are imported. I also picked up Chorizo Iberico which I’ll be looking forward to trying. There’s a great selection from Spices and Tease (note the play on words in their name), also a large display of caviar varieties and a separate further in for just seafood.
Huge selection of food, both local and international and many options for a grab & go lunch, meals at home or a picnic. The sushi counter is a particular favourite. You will pay Manhattan prices for everything though, so best to keep that in mind before indulging.
nothing special and quite small. but pricy. a bit disappointed and couldnt find a reason to visit here
Beautiful and quality
disgusting
Great grocery and prepared food options all in one place. Very handy when you're in a pinch.

Took a walking tour of grand central station today and finished by walking thru the Grand Central Market. Full of delicious looking meat, seafood, cheese, chocolate and lots more. Pretty busy today around 3pm with shoppers.

Alright, let's talk Grand Central Market. Forget your precious artisanal whatever down the street. This ain't that. This is the real deal, a glorious, gritty, beautiful mess of humanity and hunger. You walk in, and it hits you – the smells, the shouts, the sheer, unadulterated energy of a place that's been feeding this damn city for over a century.
You got your greasy spoons slinging comfort like a punch to the gut, your purveyors of exotic spices whispering secrets from far-off lands, and enough culinary detours to keep even a seasoned glutton like myself intrigued for days. Forget delicate portions and hushed reverence. Here, it's elbows out, a glorious free-for-all in pursuit of flavor. Grab a stool, order something that looks unapologetically delicious, and soak it in. This isn't just a market; it's a damn institution. Five stars? Hell, give it six. It's earned it.
Nice but very overpriced
