Really enjoyed this Chelsea staple, but a spot that hasn't lost its sparkle. This is very good Sichuan food. Not the best you will ever have, but still very good.

Loads of authenticity in the menu, with fish taking a prominent place amongst a lot of options. They also have all your standard US-Cantonese American dishes.

Our selections were a Spicy Fish with Bean Curd Flower, sauteed Pea Shoots with Garlic, and Pumpkin with Scallions and...
Obviously this is highly situational, but I had great service, especially when it was just the one girl at the counter serving on a rainy night.

That wasn't any issue for her or I, the food came hot and ready to be devoured. That said, this place is authentic as it comes. Keep in mind that if there's one thing they're really good at...its the sauces....

I took a chance on this place and I'm so glad I did. There aren't a lot of good, authentic Szechuan places in the city, but this one checks all the boxes, plus a few extra. I love that they advise they can make anything as spicy as you like, and don't give you that skeptical look that you might not be able to handle it. I told them to light me up and they did. Portions are huge; my meal could have easily been shared by 2, but I am a lonely, hungry gal so it suited...
