I ordered curried goat, yams, collard greens, and mac and cheese. After waiting 40 minutes, I received potato salad instead of yams, with no call or notice about the substitution.

Unfortunately, the entire meal was disappointing:

The curried goat was overly salty, mostly sharp bones, and lacked freshness.

The potato salad was watery, and the greens were soggy.

The food did not reflect the quality I expect from your restaurant, especially for a Sunday dinner.

I wish someone had contacted me about the missing yams so I could have made a substitution. This lack of communication and quality makes me hesitant to order again.

I hope you take this feedback seriously and consider how to improve both your food preparation and customer service. I’m not seeking a refund—I’m seeking accountability and respect for your patrons.

I usually don’t do this but I paid almost 20 dollars for a large goat with rice&peas and cabbage and I got more rice than anything . I am constantly coming here and usually it’s all good but sometimes (becoming more than sometimes )the portions don’t reflect the price . Black people are spending their hard earned money to eat some tasty food from the neighborhood so when I get mostly bones , and fat , and maybe 4 pieces of meat in the goat… I’m very disappointed . Maybe it is the day and who is serving but will need to take a break from the Greedy Pot if this is gonna be the culture .

Greddy Pot catered my Dad's bday party. The food was great. Guest gave plenty of compliments. The service is professional and helpful. I was able to get guidance on how much food to order to ensure guest were happy and cost effective for me. I ordered curry chicken, peas n rice, fired whitening fish, pineapple wings (guest favorite), mac n cheese.

Their catering menu to expansive fitting for any Caribbean or Southern style food gathering. Greddy Pot is my go to spot for sure. This husband and wife team is a dynamic duo. Blessings to them.

First time at Greedy Pot and I already know I’ll be back. I had the baked turkey wings with collard greens and mac & cheese. The owner gave me a sample of the greens before I ordered—soon as I sipped that juice I knew I was in the right spot.

The turkey wings were tender, greens packed with flavor, and the mac & cheese? Dangerous if you eat too much, but worth every bite. Food was so good I got home and realized all the juice was gone and got mad at the container. That’s how you know it’s real.

On top of that, staff was friendly and welcoming—felt like a conversation more than a transaction. If you want soul food that tastes like somebody cared when they made it, this is it. Don’t sleep on this spot.

I’m a very picky eater but I make sure to come here 3 times a week. (They’re open Wednesday-Sunday) My favorite is the turkey wings rice & peas and collard greens. Pretty much everything is good, the curry goat, stew chicken, fried chicken, and oxtails. Really seasoned to perfection! I can’t stop eating once I start smh. Thank you for the great food I’ll continue to come back! I don’t have any pictures of the plates because they don’t stand a chance!

The customer service was excellent. The food is great .I had the turkey wings ,collard greens, yams and rice and peas . I also had the pineapple cake which was awesome. The watermelon juice 😋 is my favorite 😍. I will be back , I must try everything on the menu. I highly recommend this restaurant 👌🏾 😍.

Man, this food hit every spot. The oxtail was fall-off-the-bone perfect, the gravy was rich and deep, and those greens?? Straight up comfort on a plate. No frills, just real flavor and love in every bite. I don’t play when it comes to food, and this right here reminded me why I will forever and always trust Jamaican kitchens to come through every time. Bless up to whoever made this 🙏 🙌 ❤️

If you're in Harlem, you have to stop by Greedy Pot! Wonderful service, and mind blowing food. We got fried fish and ginger chicken platters with sides of mac, yams, potato salad, and greens. You also have to try their banana pudding! Food was made fresh, perfectly seasoned, overall delicious.

Couldn't ask for anything more, already planning to stop by every time we're in the area. Stop by Greedy Pot, you won't regret it!
