Food here is outstanding. Had the catfish cooked to order (and worth waiting for) with sides of candied yams and baked mac and cheese and a ginger lemonade. The mac and cheese is exceptional. Looking forward to coming back!
Amazing food and experience at this cosy establishment. I came in as the place just opened for a Jerk Chicken large combo, which came with a choice of 2 delicious sides - I went for Baked Mac and Cheese and Candied Yams. Both spectacular, but the chicken was the highlight. Fresh, flavourful and a great serving size.
Lovely staff too, very friendly family joint which felt like a home cooked meal.
Couldn't recommend more highly!
A little gem in the hood. The Greedy Pot has Caribbean dishes, and I believe the menu is subject to change depending upon the day. I ordered lunch/dinner for the family. Jerk chicken with rice and peas. Fried fish macaroni and cheese and cabbage for veggies and fried wings. I also ordered candied yams. Everything was delicious. This is a takeout restaurant and priced fairly for this food. The most expensive thing on the menus was oxtail, which was around $25. The other meals were about $16. I had plenty for the family as nice portions are provided. I'd enjoyed the Greedy Pot. Will definitely go back.
I walked out of there licking at my fingers lol baby when I tell you greedy pot DID NOT disappoint everything was on point. I Highly recommend oh & I’ll be back for more 😋
The food was exactly what I was looking for. The Chicken, Baked Mac & Cheese, Yams and Collard Greens was everything. I woke up craving some good soul food and they understood the assignment.
Once you walk in the smell made me hungry. Baked Giant turkey wings with the mac n cheese baked to perfection and collard greens. I have found a hidden gem. Life is good!
As a Jamaican I can say this is the best food Ive had in a long time. The whole block could smell it 👃
Truly a local gem! The owners are very kind and the food is delicious. Definitely worth visiting and you get a lot of food for a very reasonable price. I will be there enough to try everything on the menu that’s for sure!!!
Amazing food in good portions at a fair New York price point + very friendly staff

I recently had Greedy Pot for the second time, and I was blown away by the flavors and quality of the food. Every dish feels like it’s made with love and attention to detail. The portions are generous, and you truly get your money’s worth. The seasoning is spot-on, giving each bite that homemade, soul-satisfying taste.
I highly recommend trying their signature dishes – they’re hearty and absolutely delicious. Whether you’re craving something savory or comforting, Greedy Pot has something that hits the spot. Definitely my new go-to for comfort food!

I recommend this spot. Most of the soul food in Harlem isn’t good. I was pleasantly surprised by the food, the cook to order for the catfish, the quality of the mac, and the solid outcome of the collards.

We were here on a Saturday & had a late lunch. Oxtail stew was great. The fried chicken was also excellent. I also like the watermelon juice!
