I stopped in this Afternoon for a take out order I was greeted by their Handsome Son he's so Precious his Father told me he will be 4 years,old Tomorrow the owners are very friendly the food is very good no need to addadditional seasoning good down home cooking I would definitely come back and try something different I ordered Turkey WingsCabbage Potato Salad and Candied Yams I have enough for Tomorrow

I find myself loving this place more and more, not only is the food great but the owners are AMAZING!!! It’s black owned, and the love they put in their food just keeps me coming back everytime I’ve had to come to Harlem. The fried foods are made fresh to order which is what you would hope for, and everything else is on point. Exactly what I be hoping for when I crave soul food. Must try!!

Happppyyyyyy Saturdayyyy❤️ I’m a Big Girl In a Big Ol World and this food just made my freaking night….. I walked 7 blocks in the rain snow and cold…. Upon arrival there was a dry bench right in front which was already so very welcoming of them. Thank you Boo ! As soon as I entered this Black Owned Business I was greeted from the staff and with the smell of Love in kitchen. The Family staff was extremely patient and super down to earth…. The establishment was clean it was warm TV set up high on the wall and everything… I’m definitely going to dine in next time AND GET some dessert I wanted that banana pudding soooo bad I ordered Oxtails Mac n cheese rice and peas with sweet yams ….. I wish my stomach could hold more?? $29.19 EVERYTHING was SEASONED DOWNNNN the Mac was MACIN the Oxtails were TAILING … baby the YAMS i got to the yams and THE RICE AND THE PEAS…Lord !!!!! Amazing candied yams. Very spicy (like nutmeg and cloves spicy, not hot spicy). Nicely browned flavorful mac & cheese. Everything was really good. The medium portion is plenty for a big meal. My mother liked it so much she wants to tweak her recipes! We loved it! The staff were kind, too, and the shop was clean. Really glad we tried this place.

Finally got to try the food from Greedy Pot today. I heard about them from a coworker back in 2018.I ordered oxtail rice and peas and Mac and cheese the oxtail was so delicious and tender, the Mac and cheese was also delicious I save come for my husband and he loved it.
