I reserved the private room for a birthday dinner and all I can say is WOW! The process from start to finish was seamless. The actual dinner was great from the private room, food, endless wine, control of the music, service and everything else. Highly highly recommend!

Had an amazing time at Grey Lady! The vibe was relaxed yet lively — perfect for a night out with friends. The highlight was definitely their $1 oyster special — fresh, briny, and absolutely delicious. You can tell they take pride in the quality; each oyster was perfectly shucked and chilled just right. Paired with a cocktail and the upbeat atmosphere, it made for the perfect start to the evening.
Highly recommend stopping by for the oyster deal and staying for the great drinks and service. Definitely one of the best happy hour finds in the city! 🦪🍸

This place is a total scam. We paid for a 2-hour open bar with a private section for 30 ppl, but the “section” was tiny and completely overcrowded — definitely not worth the money. On top of that, the staff was rude and unhelpful the entire time. Would not recommend at all.

I had zero expectations for the Happy Hour goodies, but this burger + martini deal is unreal! Honestly, one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. Maybe it’s the double patties, the fresh fluffy bun… not sure, but it was seriously delicious. Gin martini was well made and the bartender was super nice guy. Love the vibe and awesome crowd here.

I tried booking a private room for brunch at this restaurant. I was in contact with Danielle, and I thought everything was going smoothly. I had a date and time set, and they asked me if I’d like the link to leave a deposit. 10 minutes later I replied to the email and said “yes”. I woke up the next day to an email saying they gave the reservation to someone else. I found this extremely unprofessional. Unless the time slot I was in contact about was taken within the 10 minutes I didn’t reply to the email, then I don’t see why it was given away.

I rented out a room here for my 30th birthday dinner and the experience was amazing. The entire team was extremely easy to work with, food and drinks were delicious, and the space was beautiful. Our party had our own bartender (his name was Tree, not sure if I’m spelling correctly) and he was absolutely awesome! He went above and beyond serving us and making amazing drinks. I’d highly recommend Grey Lady if you’re looking to book a private party! Amazing experience all around, 10/10.

Worth it imo, it's near a lot of cool spots like the Tenement Museum so it's a great place to grab a bite after an activity. I didn't get the oysters but I hear the deal is great so I'll definitely be back for that.
