We had an awesome dinner! Everyone enjoyed all the various plates we ordered. My pork chop was delicious! Service was impeccable! Can't wait to go back!
Absolutely exceeded our expectations. We went on a whim. Greeted with lots of warm affection when we came in and they kept bringing amazing food to the table with great explanations on what everything was. Literally everything they served was fantastic.
We had a great family-in-from-out-of-town in advance of a Maroon5 concert and were looking for something special, close to Madison Square Garden. Our servers were excellent - friendly and attentive - and our food was great. In a lovely atmosphere. Nice night.
Excellent apps, mains also good, beautiful restaurant, well done service, nice wine selection.
We had the special menu for the day and it was delicious. In addition, the waiter brought us a plate of crispy potatoes the chef was experimenting with. It was all perfect.
The space was nice. However when we were seated, there were 3 identical tables in a row - we asked for one on the end but we were told that table was for parties of 3 and we had to sit in the middle. Shortly thereafter there were parties of two seated on either use of us. So, for our anniversary dinner we had to listen to two couples on either side of us. At one point a staff member left a tray of forks on our table. It turns out that was an accident. All the food tasted the same despite us ordering an array of things to try. Everything was over seasoned - too spicy and salty. We won't be back. It was very underwhelming
The appetizers were creative and delicious but the salad was outrageously overdressed and the main course and side were too salty.
EXCELLENT restaurant. It's a short walk to #7 subway stop. Food delicious, service excellent and ambience beautiful. What more could you ask for.
Great food, service and atmosphere. Greywind's menu is creative and follows through with presentation and flavor. Service is attentive and the server was a blast. Will definitely return the next time I am in NYC.

We celebrated my friend's birthday at the Greywind last week. The decor was tasteful, drinks tasted OK and were reasonably priced. Service was good as well. No issues there.
The biggest disappointment was the size of the dishes. Most dishes were too small to share for the table of 8 people.
The $70 dollar steak was not a ribeye. It looked like a skirt steak and was maybe 8oz. Any steakhouse in the city for $60 -$80 would serve 16 - 24oz ribeye for that price. Hopefully owners will take it under consideration.

Small plates, mediocre and pricey food and drinks. Would not recommend as the value is very low for the price. $70 ribeye steak was tiny portion and did not look like or taste like ribeye at all. The lounge and the restaurant decor is done with good taste though.

Greywind was an absolute delight. The cocktails were delicious and service was impeccable. The starters were very fun, balanced and high-quality. The mains were good and when I had an issue the server and manager addressed it with lightning speed. They were incredibly kind and accommodating. I will definitely be returning.
The ambiance and service was excellent. The food was very good, however we had the beet salad which was hard to eat because there was way too much pepper. We both had fish which was fabulous, but it came with no sides.
