I only caught the tail end of the act, but this place was such a blast.The ambience, lighting, and atmosphere were so intimate and made for a memorable experience I rarely have in the city.

We LOVED the live music and the band was amazing. I would only go back there with cash and if that same band was playing, otherwise the bar cannot be trusted. Although, the experience was soured by a waitress and the manager dealing with the situation. Our whole party had worked in the restaurant industry and we know how it works when you keep your tab open - they keep your card in the cash register or in a safe location behind the bar. this restaurant let the waiters/waitresses hold the cards on their person. We expressed concern with this but the waitress assured us “she wouldn’t let us leave without our credit card.” we go to close out our tab and the new waitress tells us the previous one WENT HOME WITH MY FRIENDS CREDIT CARD. Instead of being apologetic and handling the situation, the manager sent over the poor waitress to tell us the bad news and it would be 20ish minutes for the girl to bring back the card. No offer for comped drinks/food or a free round of drinks. We had to ask and even then, they were only willing to refund 4 drinks and basically told us “mistakes happen and he can’t fix them” when everyone knows in the restaurant industry you’re supposed to fix the problem rather than force your patrons to deal with something you caused. Then we had to wait about 45 minutes for the girl to bring back the credit card. All in all, we loved the live music and atmosphere but the manager and waitress were a joke.

We arrived one hour before the show started. They said it was free to access. We were having some drinks waiting for the show and 10 minutes before they told us we need to pay 25euros each to stay. The waiter just told us and not other clients. When I asked for a Manager, they started shouting to me without any reason and threating me with calling security . Never in my life someone treated me like this. More people came and I asked if they needed to pay and they told me no. So they were discriminating us. A security came asking us to leave in a really bad mannerThey even made me cry and We saw them laughing of me because of that. I regret not to call the police for this and I hope people are not visiting this place, especially if you are a tourist

I'm a solo female travler and I've been to Groove several times throughout the year and this was one of my favorite spots to listen to live music. However, my last visit was extremely disappointing. I reserved my ticket for the 9:30 beforehand and when I arrived I was told partied of 1 is standing room only. I then asked if there's an available chair at one of the occupied tables could I sit at that table with the guest, with their permission. I was told, "Yes." Lucky me, 5 minutes later there in fact was a chair. No sooner than 10 minutes later the same staff member said I had to give up. His reasoning was that somebody else needed. Needed how?!?! I reserved and paid my money just like everyone else. Why I'm I being penalized for traveling alone?!?! Makes no sense to me and that was my LAST time going there. Perhaps bc I'm not from New York but the fact is that was RUDE and they will not be getting any of this woman's money!

Had a GREAT time at the Groove on 3/6/2024. This is my 3rd time there to see the group NLT/Never lose touch. What a awesome band. There old school R&B sounds are fantastic. I love how the male singer engages with the club members. I always get the truffel fries and 2 drinks. The service is great, very pleasant staff. I will go to the Groove in the future!

Loved the live band! I had some time while I was waiting for a comedy show to start so I stopped by. The doorman told me that he could let me in for half an hour only because they had a sold out show after that. I'm so happy he did. Jose Lopez & Chosen Style were playing electric guitar. Guests were enjoying themselves. Everyone was happy.This was my first time here and I discovered a new venue and a new band. Win-win.Thank you!

Sure! Here is a review based on your feedback: Last night was a vibrant atmosphere and great ambiance. The musical tribute to Erykah Badu added to the overall experience and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The drinks were excellent and the food was delicious. I will definitely be returning in the future.

My girls and I ended up here by complete happenstance. We had just finished watching a performance and wasn't ready to end the night celebrating one our birthdays. The other place we were going to go to didn't work out. We heard what sounded like good music and decided to pop in. We didn't have reservations but they happily accommodated our large party. The music was great even though, I did start getting bored because one of the singers prolonged the songs a bit too much. He sounded amazing though. It is not a big place but clearly a local favorite as the place was packed. I can't speak for everyone else's drink but I was a bit disappointed with my drink. I ordered a virgin pina colada. For starters, it was in a smaller glass than I expected. The kicker, it was $10 and was more ice than pina. I also got truffle fries. I love truffle fries but there was more garlic than Parmesan. I actually didn't take any Parmesan. Neither did one of the girls I was with. I ended up not finishing them. The waitress was kind enough to remove them off of the bill. I had some of the nachos. They were decent. I probably would order them again. I would go back.
