So I try not to typically post bad reviews, but in this case I had to cause it was just that bad... went there with the gf and 8yr old for dinner based on these google reviews but unfortunately that was bad timing. Service for food was extremely long, even though only one other couple was there.. the frozen margaritas had a nasty after taste and just cheaply made, ordered the following, hot wings were 6 small over cooked wings drenched in basic Buffalo sauce, nachos with chicken came out looking weird, for some reason the chicken is in super tiny cubes and was more like 'bacon bits'. Chicken in tacos was similarly cut, super dry chicken. Steak tacos were slightly better cut but same issue of being dry. Quesedillay had cheese lettuce tomatoes, that's it no onions peppers etc.... the kicker was that in the midst of dinner someone had a bright idea of having a dj and they started it up in the middle of dinner and extremely loud to where u couldn't hear each other across the table and it is a small place to begin with. Totally killed the vibe and we ran out of there.. Unless you're a much older person looking for a cheap bar I wouldn't recommend. I would suggest lose the old dj and focus on the vibe of the culture. Didn't go into a Mexican restaurant to hear disco music at a bar instead....

Order the spicy pork torta - it is not on their printed menu but they still made it for us! Very fun and laid back atmosphere, we brought our toddler, who loved dancing to the music. Sometimes they have karaoke. Food is awesome, reasonably priced, and beer is cheap! Had sangria last time and it was good and strong. Very friendly staff too! Great find for excellent Mexican food in Manhattan.

The chicken enchiladas here are outstanding. I popped in to order to-go for dinner and was surprised they have live music, too (Fridays). The staff was welcoming overall, it was a lovely atmosphere while waiting for my food. The Verdes Sauce hit the spot, def going back
