Always a pleasure to come to Guantanamera. Our server was wonderful and was even able to understand my lip reading to tell him it was my daughter's birthday. The margaritas are always the best.

Excellent! We aren't from NY but visited the last time we were here. We decided to come back BECAUSE the food was excellent and they had a vast menu. This time, Guantanamera did not disappoint.We will definitely come back again on our next visit!

I am Cuban and whenever I travel I look for Cuban restaurants and I have never seen Cuban food so expensive anywhere in the world and on top of that the dishes do not include accompaniment if you order a ropa Vieja they can include white rice but if you want black beans these would cost you 8.50 extra and if you add yuca with mojo another 11.00 that is the ropa Vieja 30, the beans 8.50 the cassava 11.00 total that is 49.50 that is yes. free rice...that's without dessert or drinks...please this is ridiculous for a Cuban restaurant

I can’t rate the food because we didn’t even get to eat. The service took forever and the first thing they brought to our table was hot water. My husband got upset and we walked out.

Good kitchen. My friends are dinner, one of the sandwiches, and I only had dessert that was really good. The mojitos were good too. The best part though is the band that plays there, the one with the latino woman playing the timbales and the singer on piano. Fabulous swing and repertoire 🎺🎹🥁🪘🎤

We had the pork chunks and the yellow rice with chicken. The pork chunk dish was sent back not what I was accustomed to having. The chicken dish was tolerable. The service and atmosphere, very good enjoyed the music and slipping in some dancing. If only our food matched the service and atmosphere. Drinks were good as well. Could have just been an off night for our dishes, so many good reviews on the food. Maybe next time.

lively and loud. Excellent cocktails. Nice dishes in general but make sure to choose wisely as accidentally had multiple dishes with fried plantain chips. Yuca frita for some reason tasted more likely regular potato fries. Black beans good but lacking salt. Flan was just ok.
