Dinner wine and a jolly good time. The decor is phenomenal and the tuna carpaccio was like butter in your mouth. Wasn't a fan of the meatballs. But the octopus was cooked just right with a little crispiness.

I attended an event at this restaurant during the NYC Wine & Food Festival, hosted by Nadia Caterina Munno and Olivia Tiedemann.

Unfortunately, the experience didn’t fully live up to my expectations. The host at the front seemed a bit dismissive and didn’t offer the level of hospitality I would anticipate from a restaurant of this caliber.

Despite having tickets to the event, we waited about an hour before being seated, and were ultimately placed at the bar. While one staff member was kind enough to provide updates on seating, for a $250+ event, I expected to be seated at a table alongside other guests.

Most concerning was that I was served dishes containing tree nuts, twice, despite notifying the staff about my severe allergy. For a restaurant at this price point, I expected much more attention to detail, particularly regarding food allergies.

Based on my experience, I definitely wouldn’t recommend going here. This isn’t intended as a harsh critique, but rather a reflection of my experience, which fell short of the expectations set by the price and reputation.

Way to expensive for the quality of the food. We payed $150 per person for something you can get for $20 in Europe. I might be spoiled because i am europen and american food is just worse... idk ?

First of all, it's a good standard Italian in Manhattan with a nice atmosphere.
However, I expect a little more craftsmanship and sophistication in this price segment. Pretty carelessly prepared, bland in taste, meat dry, wine glasses were dirty and there was an unpleasant smell in the upper part, the dessert was on the lower level. The Casarecce and the Meatballs saved something.
The service was nice, but very disinterested and not really pleasant. In the end we were $550 poorer and all left the store disappointed.

Food very good. Radicchio salad delicious. Ordered the meatballs and spaghetti pomodoro. Nice combo. Broccoli rabe was ok. Preferred the sourdough to the focchio bread. 2nd time at restaurant within the last 3 weeks, so that says it all.

Food was terrible, no flavor. Our favorite was the charache, but the pasta was literal mush. So over cooked. The steak was bland. Not even salt. I don’t think I’d come back. Especially for the price.

The veal Marsala was out of this world, and a tremendous portion. The halibut was delicious as well. Tiramisu and mascarpone amazing.

I was so impressed by this restaurant. I took my mom there to have a nice Italian dinner and we had some of the best food and drinks of our lives. The lasagna is absolutely amazing! I also think it’s just a beautiful place to enjoy dinner.

The atmosphere and decor are wonderful. The service was good, but i’d expect a bit more effort for a restaurant of this category.

The food was very underwhelming. The pasta tasted very basic. So did the starters. We tried the Pulpo and Burrata. I probably won’t come back.
