TUCCI - New York, is my heritage, my ancestors, with my family nearly 100 years in the hospitality industry, I bring to you a piece of my villa in Firenze to 643 Broadway. Together, we will create one of New York's most spectacular Italian restaurants. My grandfather Oscar Tucci (owner of Delmonico's) was famous for saying "All are welcome at my table." I echo him by adding, "A tavola non si invecchia": This Italian proverb literally translates to "you don't get old at the table." Enjoy the simple pleasures of life. Be present and share a slow meal and some wine with family and friends. Our TUCCI logo was my father Mario's signature. A photo of Oscar and Mario at the villa reminds me to enjoy the simple pleasures of life with family and friends. I look forward to welcoming you to TUCCI! - con affetto Max Tucci

Noisy. Extremely loud music.Makes dining impossible. We didn't even sit down to try this much awaited restaurant in our neighborhood. Won't return. Unfortunate.

Fantastic Experience - best Meatballs, Lasagna and Chicken Parm in NYC - which is saying something special. Max and his team have taken hospitality to a new level with this gem. Better than Carbone. Must try.

I really wanted to love it here. I saw a news story about this place opening up and decided to book before it got too popular. Reservation for two at 8. Arrived at 7:57 and my guest at 8:04 we sat at the bar bc our table was not ready. Graciously at 8:30 the hostess offered us wine, at 8:45 a bread basket and the owner offered us ciao Bella drinks at 9 wine and many apologies for our table not being ready. People were just not getting up from the tables after the meal was done. In the future they should nicely move them to the bar. I wouldn't be offended if someone asked me to do so. Idk. Something has to change with that. Visually it's a beautiful space. The music playing was enjoyable and not loud at all. It felt good to be there. I'm sure that neighborhood will enjoy it as I heard the location has had a bit of turnover but tucci seems like a keeper. The bartender was really nice too. He felt bad that we were having this experience. The food was good also. We wanted to get dessert but bc we were sat so late there wasn't time.

Went to the new Tucci New York on opening night Friday. The ambiance and the furnishings are gorgeous. Downstairs is a totally different vibe with old New York charm. Stone arches and a huge bar. The details are amazing, including the restaurants logo in plaster relief. The food was outstanding. Better than Carbone and not as expensive. Don't miss the Bitter salad (which isn't bitter at all and has candied walnuts and goat cheese). The chicken parm was a standout as was the lasagna. My friends had the shrimp scampi and wouldn't stop talking about it. It was opening night, so there were a couple of bumps in the service, but nothing that won't be likely fixed as they settle in. Go soon because I think this place is going to be a busy spot.

We hosted a private event here and it couldn't have gone any better! The food was delicious, the service was above par, and the atmosphere was very cool. The entire team did an excellent job putting this together a week before opening, and I'm glad to have experienced it. Well done! I definitely would recommend this restaurant and I can't wait to go again!

A most incredible experience and an ambiance ‘ that is most rare in NY. The young maitre d’ …( John) was an exceptionally charming young man and most welcoming to us all .. The overall ‘culinary experience’ from pre-dinner cocktails was nothing less than spectacular ..A wonderful experience and highly recommended ..We will be back ..

This was truly a surprise for me! The atmosphere is cozy and eclectic. Claire took great care of us and just brought us plate after plate to share tapas style. Everything she brought was better than the last dish. Tons of Gluten Free options. Could not recommend this spot more!Dietary restrictions: Gluten Free
