Solid spot! Food was all on point! All the vegetarian dishes we tried were phenomenal! The service was great and the chef came by to say hello! Will be coming back for sure!

Great food and excellent service! Tried their chicken tikka, butter chicken wings, the old Delhi style butter chicken, onion cheese kulcha and butter garlic naan. Loved everything!! Another amazing thing is that the chef himself visits each table for feedback. Highly recommended!

We had a lovely anniversary dinner with the family at GupShup!. Ambience was fabulous. Our server Mamta did a fantastic job helping us decide the menu.

Just an Okay food. Too creamy and substandard tasting for my indian palate!! We order chicken biryani and butter chicken and other veg dishes…… and it’s ok to try once

Very unprofessional. Managing staff, especially Ali, were not only not accommodating, but plain out rude and disrespectful. When we called over the phone to confirm our table, we were told that we could be accommodated and the kitchen was still open. Upon arrival, both of those things turned out to be untrue. Then, Ali, walked out and told us we had to leave, the kitchen was closed and that he would not be sitting us. Even when we tried to explain that we had chosen their restaurant based on the fact that their staff had told us we can be sat, he flatly told us to leave. Even the staff member, who I did not get his name, was there and plain lied and said that he didnt say such a thing. We had a 1 yr old baby that was hungry and they could care less. Ali made baseless lies about our behavior and used that to kick us out. If they respond to this reviewand say we made a threat, that is also a lie. We said “there would be trouble for us to find food” since its so late to find food. He used the “there would be trouble” phrase and said I do not respond to threats. We never threatened that man. He just did not want to sit us because they did not want to admit their mistake. Anyways, I hope other ppl dont have to deal with what we went through.

This restaurant needs new management . Ali was very disrespectful, as we called prior to arriving asking if the restaurant could accommodate us. We drove all the way and then he refused us. Even though there were tables available.

Food- Good but very few options. As an example they have Chicken biriyani but don’t have veg biriyani.
Vegetable curries are also limited.
We ordered, cheese paneer role- awesome.
Paneer Saag- average
Fries - very good
Naan, Paratha and missi roti- Very good taste.

Location is okay. You must take a taxi, if you are staying in central Newyork.

Ambiance is okay. Place is small, one can not do much here.

Service- very fast and courteous.

Price- Pricier than other Indian restaurants such as Kailash parbat etc.

Food presentation was great but the Biryani was bland, although the mutton was cooked perfectly. The nihari was ok, kaali daal and garlic naan were great. Service was very nice and so was ambience.

The lamb was so tender and delicious. Amazing service - our waiter was very attentive and the chef visited our table personally ask asked how we were. I appreciated this very much!

It is overhyped . They dont have proper cutlery they serve you in quater plates instead of proper plates.Food is average, i ordered dahi kabab, it was undercooked
