Charging crazy card fees…
I stumble across this Halal cart one day when I was grabbing some grocery from Whole Foods. I am from out of state. This halal truck has better food than the halal brothers famous halal cart on 6th ave. Since coming across this cart, when ever I am traveling to NYC and pass thru this area, I grab a platter. My only disappointment is the cart does not seem to be there everyday. So it can be a hit or miss some days. If anyone knows where this cart is on days he is not outside of whole foods, please share!

small Middle Eastern food cart parked right in front of Whole Foods. the funniest thing is seeing people buying tons of groceries and then standing in line to grab a rice + meat platter after to take home with their groceries. life is funny.
the cart is perfect for grabbing a meal to-go if you’re exhausted from doing anything adult like cooking. the cart serves a variety of Middle Eastern sandwiches and meat over rice platters. the servings are ample. i typically get chicken over rice or falafel over rice. both have been really good. no complaints. the platters are packed with flavor and are a great value when you’re hungry and want a quick meal that is not fast food. most platters are $7ish + tip
the waits aren’t too long and the the owner is super chill and nice.
Cooks are great and they’ll throw in nicer spices like cilantro and chiles. A beautifully reliable above-average spot for a late night or anytime.
Delicious falafel
The cook kindly asked if I was vegetarian and he would take extra care to clean the grill if I didn’t want cross contamination with meat, I’m not even vegetarian but this was so sweet of him.
Support your local cart vendors ! They are literally the backbone of nyc don’t forget that
The rice was also absolutely delicious
