Lamb gyro is more rubbery than a tire and blander than a saltine

Was walking towards the river for a nice evening with my gf. We stopped here to get food and to enjoy on Pier 84 at the tables. We ordered ONE chicken over rice and 2 bottles of Gatorade - $29 - $20 for the chicken over rice & $4.50 for each Gatorade. I live in Hell’s Kitchen so this was a nonsensical price to pay for a food truck - when I asked to confirm that $20 (TWENTY) was correct he said yes - and once food is made then no refunds - I am the bigger fool for paying it but definitely avoid this guy is my opinion. (Side note it was Sunday evening just as the 9th Avenue food festival was about to finish, so a lot of tourists had made their way towards the river - clearly this guy was taking advantage of this - I’m disappointed in myself for paying it a day later ??‍♂️).

Could have been more seasoned. A little bit bland, and just ok. You know when you are craving for something and you get disappointed? That's what it did for me.

Wow - this place is bad. $26 for two chicken and rice, and the portions were so small. At that price point might as well go to an actual restaurant for take out. Also, it was flavorless. What happened to the food scene in NYC?…. How it this place rated above 4 stars- do ppl have tastebuds?
