Hanoi House is a fantastic blend of authentic Vietnamese cuisine and a modern touch of fusion. The top 3 dishes that I have ordered, not just once but twice now are:Crispy Pork & Crab Spring Rolls, House Special Pho (featuring four kinds of beef cuts), and the Shaking Beef (of which the sauce is sublime)! Also, the Vietnamese iced coffee is a must try!The ambiance is a bit claustrophobic inside, but the outdoor dining is equally busy. The staff are an amazing team who are very friendly, efficient, and thoughful! Reservations are a MUST, walk-in customers have to wait quite a while even after the lunch rush

Wish I didn’t love this because it’s a bit out of the way but it truly was the best pho I’ve ever had. It’s a bit pricier than at other pho places but the quality of the meat and the broth is unmatched. For starters I wasn’t too impressed by the shishito peppers but the lamb meatballs were interesting and tasty! For main, I would definitely recommend the House Special!

Went for the Vietnamese coffee and egg coffee. No complaints. Did not order food. Just wanted strong coffee!

Delicious food! Didn't have any expectations when we first walked in, found the restaurant by chance and saw it had good reviews so figured why not give a chance. Our server was very helpful in answering questions about drinks and food and would check in on us to make sure everything was good. For the appetizer we had the lamb which was very flavorful. Everything we tried did not disappoint. I will be coming back and I recommend this place to anyone who loves good food

amazing veggie pho. I loved the broth and all the toppings

I actually laughed out loud at how terrible the desserts were. Soft serve was the smallest portion you could imagine like barely over the cone edge. Cookie was hard as a rock and tasted like salty cardboard.

Hanoi house is a great place to visit with amazing foods. The soup is amazing as well as the noodle. Only downside I’ve experienced on this place is the table that’s outside is very tilted, and wiggles a bit too hard that we almost split our drinks and the noodle. If you were to dine here, in-door is the place to be?

So I will admit the food is an easy 5 stars. But the service here was less than spectacular. This was our first time here which we explained to our host and server. We just about finished and another gentleman sat right next to us and ordered the exact thing we did and got extra condiments we didn’t even know to ask for. He also got extra bone marrow, and his service was incredibly fast. Ours took a while and I will admit, as good as the food was, I wouldn’t make a special trip again. Great service would complete the wonderful meal, but this time that didn’t happen…

Unlike the common New York Vietnamese food, their dishes are more innovative, and tasty too. Come here if you want to try something a little different. I highly recommend papaya & pig ear salad, and grilled pork noodles!

Solid Vietnamese food in the city. We ordered the sauteed morning glory, the tofu summer rolls, the fried spring rolls, the clams, and the bone marrow pho to split. The dishes were all pretty good but not mindblowingly so.Great service.

I've only ever ordered in (this will change), but, quality of the food is as if it was served straight from the kitchen. The flavors come together in a refreshingly satisfying way. I recommend the two meat pho with brisket and rib eye and the banh mi! You won't regret it!

Unique flavours and delicious food! Tried Hanoi House for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. I’ve never had northern Vietnamese cuisine as my parents are from the south, but the food here was delightful! The lamb in a leaf wrap was a bit over salted and overall, it felt like a few of their grilled meats and pork dishes were a bit too much in the salty side. Not to mention we are also dipping it into fish sauce so the meat did not have to be as salty. Nevertheless, it was still enjoyable!Pho with bone marrow was probably my favourite dish. Authentic and clear broth and the pho had very generous meat portion and sizes. The bone marrow was good, but probably not worth the price as the actual edible content from the bone marrow was very little! Still, it makes for a nice instagram post. The Vietnamese iced coffee and the egg coffee was well made. Wouldn’t recommend getting it!Overall, I think this place deserves 4 stars. I don’t think I’d personally be back, but definitely worth trying at least once!

Not your typical Vietnamese restaurant, they serve up great food with delicious, bold flavors. Got the Dac Biet pho and it came with real strong, dark broth. It also came with bone marrows and fried dough - if you order a hot Vietnamese coffee, here’s a hack - they go really well if you dip the fried dough in the coffee.

Fried Pig Ear papaya salad: Overly salty dressing and batter 2/5. Very crispy skin tho. Not as crunchy papaya shreds but a lot of greens.Pho classic: noodle to meat ratio imbalanced, nice flavor and good tendon and oxtail(shredded).Spicy paste 10/10.Pork shoulder noodle: Love the noodles, pickled daikon is nice. Crunchy spring meat roll. Broth is like a sauce.Drinks: salt lime soda5/5. Bamboozled.Bathroom is nice. spacious and cute.

Eating here bummed me out but I guess my disappointment is my own fault because I ordered veggie pho even after I noticed it contained cauliflower. If the food was cheaper I'd be like "meh, I won't order there again" but it was what is pretty typical in this neighborhood: overpriced and not very good. The soup didn't have even the most basic things I'd expect at any pho place like bean sprouts, jalapeños or lime. The broth tasted like it came out of a can. I do not know how this place is rated as high as it is on here.
