Grateful that the owner called to follow up. I still think I would wait to go until the doors are open and you could see firsthand what they’re doing. I would not order through the kiosk.

This is definitely one of the best breakfasts I’ve had in my life. If you’re a tourist preparing for a day of activities, grab one of these bowls as take out. It was tricky to find because it’s like a hole in the wall kind of place so rely on the address and not necessarily seeing the restaurant name. Definitely worth it! I recommend 100%. Tasty and filling. Im definitely going back!

Dietary restrictions: They are so inclusive all kinds of gluten free options

This has become my favorite poke and açaí spot in NYC! Recently opened, it’s so convenient for a quick work lunch, right near Broadway. I highly recommend. The açaí was the creamiest I have ever had and the poke very refreshing - just look at those colors!

This is not so much a restaurant as it is a delivery service that offers pickup at a location that has a couple of tables with seats where--if the seats are available--you can sit and eat the food you pick up. You can order by phone or at a kiosk at the place. To emphasize: the Backstreet Food Hall where this is located is small and bare minimum: you should plan to have this food delivered or for takeout. The food from this Double Zero location s pretty much the same as you get from the highly rated restaurant of the same name located in downtown Manhattan--though without any of the ambiance. I got a truffle-mushroom pizza (vegan pizzas are their specialty) with shiitake bacon. It was very tasty, though I found the truffle oil a bit overwhelming (truffle aficionados would probably love it, however). Eating the Double Zero pizza at their downtown restaurant is naturally a more relaxing and enjoyable experience. My sense is that people who are staying in a hotel nearby and want some classy vegan food might really enjoy this place, especially since there are not a lot of good vegan places in the Times Square area. If you want a vegan slice for takeout, however, a better bet might be NY Pizza Suprema or Two Boots Pizza.

Yupeee….. So happy Double zero downtown opened on 8th Ave Time Square. Order the spicy Arabiata or Truffle Mushroom. Updated from previous review on 2024-03-23

I come to happy bowls every time I’m in Manhattan! It is by far the best tasting Acai bowl I’ve had and they only ever use the freshest ingredients! The staff are so lovely and the shop has such a nice vibe ? I can’t recommend happy bowls enough!

I come here on a weekly basis, I tell everyone I know to come here! It’s my favourite place in the whole of Manhattan for acai! Grace is the most amazing lady and her acai bowls are the tastiest freshest of them all! Fresh fruit, fresh granola and amazing quality ingredients, not soggy or sugar soaked rubbish! Always leave fully satis

Ordered a build your own oat meal bowl. Oatmeal with protein powder, almond butter, strawberries & blueberries. $11.50 ??. I got a 1/2 full plastic pint container with 1/4 full oatmeal, teaspoon of almond butter 1 cut up strawberry and 10 blueberries. Seriously?!?? What a joke
