Just experienced Harbor Bar this evening. I am not writing this review because I am that person that complains about the tiniest things. The service was painful with a waiter who will not remain nameless, Jason lacked complete knowledge of the Menu and lacked people skills. We asked when ordering about the gluten free items. He put a craft beer in front of me when I clearly wanted a cider and asked to make sure it was gluten free. He got the drinks mixed up and still put the craft beer in front if me telling me it was the cider. Then my friend got a pizza with a hair from the kitchen staff and when he removed it, without an apology, the pizza was replaced with a fresh one “on the house” they were still given a bill for it. Watch your bill as you will get over charged. Painful and slow service. Save yourself the aggravation.

This is an okay bar. I give it 3 stars because if you're looking for a place to just have a few drinks, get drunk, then head home, this is is the place. Other than that, there's not much else to do or experience here. Bottom line: come here to get drunk. Don't come here for a wonderful NYC experience.

A bit of a hidden gem here, great views of Bryant Park and a broad beer selection. I'd recommend this place if you're meeting up with a small group for a quick drink after work!

Great service not so great food. I got the Caprese salad which had two small shapes mocarella, 4 cherry tomatoes on the mountain of arugula.
Unexpected hideaway in midtown. Attentive service and above expectations drink menu. Came here for a low-key drink after ice skating at Bryant Park. Inside the whole foods and past the prepared food counters.

The staff very friendly. The Chef's are all awesome and the food is delicious. Especially the lemon clams & Shrimp and Chorizo. The Bartenders are the best.
