Harlem Public is my go-to spot in the neighborhood. The cocktails are delicious and reasonably priced ($13-17), they have a good selection of beers and ciders which are also well priced (~$7), the music and vibes are great, and the staff are friendly. Also their tater tots are addictive. They usually have sports games going on the TV, and indie music playing in the background. My only criticism is that most of the burgers need a little more acidity. If youre getting food and drinks you can expect to spend around $30.

Been coming here for years now and I enjoy the atmosphere, staff and menu. Great brunch spot; HIGHLY RECOMMEND the Fork and Knife fries.

Excellent service and good attention from its employees, the dynamic and joviality of the bartenders, Cody is very funny and gives his all to his audience.

Harlem Public has hands down some of the best burgers. Me and my friends always get the peanut butter burgers and they are amazing. It's not what you would expect but the combo truly works. Also tater tots are delicious.

The quality was a genuinely unexpected find. Their food consistently delivers satisfaction. The service personnel showed remarkable consistency from start to finish. This restaurant has a nice feel to it. There are zero issues to report.

Have been coming here for 5 years but the past 5 or so times I’ve been here the fried chicken sandwich has been so bad I can’t justify coming back. Service is usually very good.

Dined recently in July 2025 at this cozy local restaurant in Hamilton Heights with friends that live around the corner and absolutely loved it. The menu was creative but the food was perfectly prepared and delicious and the cocktail and beer offering was fantastic. We sat outside on the terrace and the atmosphere was buzzing but so relaxed and fun and the wait staff were super friendly and helpful. Hope to visit again the very next time we're in town!

From the moment we walked in, the vibe was welcoming and lively. But what truly made our visit memorable was Talaya — she was amazing! Her energy was warm, her service was top-tier, and her recommendations were spot-on. Every dish she suggested hit the spot perfectly.

The food itself? Incredible. Every bite was flavorful, fresh, and cooked to perfection. You can tell they care about quality and consistency.

Hands down, this was some of the best customer service we’ve experienced in a long time. If you’re in Harlem, Harlem Public is a must — and if you’re lucky enough to have Talaya as your server, you’re in for a treat!

We went for happy hour and the Strawberry Marg. was very good and the Cuban sandwich as well. The only thing about thus place is that the bar was very busy, so we had to wait a little for our drinks, also the mac and cheese wasn't too good. It was a little bland for our taste.
