Was in Harlem for an extended visit and had lunch at Harlem Shake. I loved it so much that I took the family here when they came up from Maryland to join me. I grew up in Harlem and I am excited by all the great restaurants that have opened up over the years. Harlem Shake offers up some great diner food with a Harlem twist. You feel like you're in an old diner. Very good food at good prices for NY. Friendly staff and good atmosphere. Better to arrive early, it fills up easily. Very interesting children's menu.
