Harlem Tavern

The food and atmosphere was awesome! We had burgers, I had a delicious lamb burger with truffle fries! Everyone loved their burgers! We had Ginger for our waitress she was great, we had Barbie who brought our food out and was super cool!

A lot of the food was overcooked and dry. Made reservations ahead of time to sit inside and was given a hard time.

Live DJ, amazing food and incredible drinks....win, win!!!!!! I always have an amazing time here!! This is my favorite go-to spot for lunch or dinner when I come to New York. It's always a guaranteed good time! You can enjoy the vibes for hours!!!

Very nice place. The Wait staff was very attentive. Oysters were exceptional.

Our salad order arrived 15 minutes after the arrival of our steak order. They both should have came out together. However, the food was good, and the staff was polite and professional.

I got there at 1145 a.m. 15 minutes before my reservation. I was seated after 12:00 which was fine but it took them over an hour to bring me something to drink and eat. The people who came in after us we served first. It was very upsetting. I like the Harlem tavern but I don't know if I'd go back on Mother's Day or any other holiday again. Usually it's amazing today it was mediocre.

Had an 11AM reservation. Got there and was asked to leave because they don't open til 12.

There was plenty of open space at the time we went. The Playlist and the abundance of TV screens playing all the sports was great.

My travel companion and I stopped in on a Saturday afternoon for a quick bite and cocktail while we waited for our reservations at Melba’s. Thankfully this was just a stop. Had this been the destination I would’ve been incredibly disappointed the establishment being nearly empty the service was terrible.

Heavy in the tomato sauce and light on the alcohol. Additionally, there were no additional love or accoutrements to help this beverage taste anything more than like leftovers.

Do not recommend. My date sent it back. Rather my date tried to send it back but the service was so terrible. We ended up holding onto it for about 25 minutes before anyone came to our table to provide assistance.

Good food and ambiance in the heart of Harlem. Nice spot to with a group of friends, kid friendly to just enjoy a nice lunch or dinner, even better at night with some live entertainment and ways to watch games. The wait can be long because it gets super busy but not too long. Staff is nice and friendly too. I’d recommend.
