This has been my favorite Indian restaurant for decades. It's quiet and has just been nicely renovated. The vindaloo is spicy and sweet, the chicken korma mild and creamy, and the poori crispy. I always call for a reservation even though it probably isn't necessary before 6 pm. Ask for a banquette if you're with 3 or more people. Considering how nice the place is, the prices are reasonable. Best neighborhood Indian. I love the lamb and chicken curries and the chicken tandoori. Great for large parties and for sharing entrees. They are always fast and have great service.

Great food. Was quite warm when we arrived but they were quick to correct the situation when they saw we were uncomfortable. Very attentive and accommodating staff. Lychee martini is to die for....
