Disappointed with the meals we had which lacked in quality and taste, as well as five bucks for a small cup of soda (with full price refills). It was a letdown. Ambiance is very nice and friendly staff.
Unfortunately it was very disappointing. Limited food option, food came cold. You can't always win.

Wonderfully warm bartender, delicious beef-ricotta meatballs, and tasty, smooth polenta, made this meal memorable.

Wow. The Maccheroni was a total revelation. Strong recommend.
Not cheap but a good choice if you have a picky friend or for date night.

The food was excellent, beautifully prepared, with a lot of care from the kitchen team. I was seated at the bar facing the open kitchen and I could admire the attention to detail.
The staff were friendly and attentive, and the price was very reasonable for such outstanding quality. Highly recommended!”

Food was good but lunch menu selection was sparse. Few options without carbs. Hamburger was served without vegetables 🤔 The decore and ambience were lovely.

44 dollars for two small meatballs and a tiny bit of palenta
i think i have probably passed by this restaurant hundreds of times and finally tried it last night. the entrance is around the corner on a quieter street, so looks very unassuming when you’re walking past on 1st ave.
we all got the restaurant week deal and it was definitely a deal at $45 for 3-courses (additional charge for upgrades). we got to try everything. our highlights were: garlic bread (so buttery 😍), gazpacho, fish cake, campanelle, beans, and almond cake for dessert. would definitely come back again during restaurant week.

We had a wonderful meal here. One of our party is disabled, and we didn't realize there were steps up into the restaurant when we arrived. The staff was unbelievably courteous, quickly brought out a ramp, and were solicitous about our friends needs throughout the meal.
The food was terrific, the wine selections were exceptional, but the staff were over the moon.
