i think i have probably passed by this restaurant hundreds of times and finally tried it last night. the entrance is around the corner on a quieter street, so looks very unassuming when you’re walking past on 1st ave.

we all got the restaurant week deal and it was definitely a deal at $45 for 3-courses (additional charge for upgrades). we got to try everything. our highlights were: garlic bread (so buttery 😍), gazpacho, fish cake, campanelle, beans, and...

We had a wonderful meal here. One of our party is disabled, and we didn't realize there were steps up into the restaurant when we arrived. The staff was unbelievably courteous, quickly brought out a ramp, and were solicitous about our friends needs throughout the meal.

The food was terrific, the wine selections were exceptional, but the staff were over the moon.
