If ZERO stars were an option, this restaurant would unfortunately earn it. The food was inedible - served cold and either completely lacking in flavor or extremely salty. All the servers consistently avoided our table, and it was really difficult to flag any of them down.

To make matters worse, we were quietly charged for mayonnaise after requesting it, as it did not come with the chicken karaage - something that was never mentioned beforehand. When we raised concerns about the kimchi fried rice being overwhelmingly salty after a single bite, we were dismissively told that this was “how kimchi is” and were refused a remake.

Between the poor-quality food, inattentive service, and questionable charges, this was an extremely unpleasant experience. I will not be returning and strongly caution others against dining here.

Sick posters all over the restaurant, and the bathroom has a comic wall, which was awesome. The food is really good, although the wait for the sushi was a bit long. Still really good and not too busy, and I got a table right away, so I highly recommend.

This is a hidden gem. We hesitated to go in as it was hard see inside. So glad we went in , it was so authentic and reasonably priced for NYC. Highly recommend it!

Super impressed with the quality of food here. Ordered a salmon bowl and every ingredient was fresh. The wasabi and rice were delicious. Our waitress was attentive and the atmosphere is comfy.

The food is generally yummy here, but I’d agree with other reviews that they are a bit under seasoned. They also have good happy hour deals on drinks, but I wish they had happy hour deals on food.

On to my major complaint: service here was subpar, at best. I ordered a shrimp tempura roll and pointed on the menu at the item to clearly indicate I wanted that. They mistakenly brought me shrimp tempura, which wasn’t a big deal, or so I thought. I flagged someone down to let them know of the mistake and politely did so. Then, my original server came back and asked me about the mistake. I clarified that I said I wanted a shrimp tempura roll not shrimp tempura, and she made a face at me indicating her displeasure. She said, with distaste, that she only heard me say shrimp tempura. She asked me to confirm what I wanted, so I again politely asked for a shrimp tempura roll. When I made this request, she again made a face at me, as if it were an inconvenience that was on me that she misheard me. Any time we interacted after, she ignored me and only acknowledged my friend who I was dining with. At one point while we were dining, I caught her glaring at me from the bar. I don’t know if something happened or if some reprimanded her for making a mistake, but I truly did not think it was a big deal until she decided to be annoyed with me… the customer. Another waitress also treated me this way and appeared to ignore me and only regard my friend with pleasure and happiness. Only the manager and another waitress were kind and regarded me happily. What’s with the mixed service?

Overall, a weird experience, but they had a really extensive menu! It’s kind of a shame because I definitely wanted to try more things and come back. This weird experience was hopefully just a one-off.

Very Loud! I have no idea why they play loud music given the small space and talking. Rude rude rude waiter. We wait at the entrance and no one guide us to seat. We confirmed with the waiter many times about whether their drinks are nonalcoholic. The female waiter confirmed but later told us it had alcoholic inside. I told her I was on medication that required no alcohol drinks. She dismissed it and kept asking me if you need anything else. I mean, can you give me a new life? Apparently no! No apology no seriousness! Avoid if you can

Absolutely ridiculous customer service. The server, young guy with beard, just took away our plates while we were eating. I asked why, and the server said he thought we were not eating. He apologized in a very condescending way, and questioned why it's a problem when he apologized. We were waiting for more food to come out we had ordered---we cancelled, and the server said he doesn't want any tip. The manager apologized, but still this is the worst customer service I have ever experienced.
