Went there for lunch on a busy Saturday...both service and food were excellent. Tuna tartar appetizer, smoked salmon Eggs Benedict and fish tacos were delicious and portions were generous.

Great food! Also brought treats out to celebrate a birthday, much appreciated. We all look forward to coming back again. We especially enjoyed the oysters, mussels, and portobello burger.

The service was spot on. We both had the Amish chicken plate for dinner. Moist, flavorful and delicious. And a proper portion size. Not big, not small. Great martini. I hadn't been here for awhile. I'll be back way more often.

This was our first visit to High Street on Hudson. My wife ordered branzino with clams and I had a portobello mushroom burger. Both were very delicious and I would even go as far as to say that this was the best portobello mushroom burger I have ever had. It was served with a massive portion of french fries. My only criticism, and it is a minor one, was that the fries were slightly too salty. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was pleasant.

Very good food and great value. Had several appetizers including the lobster tail - reasonably priced for their size and the watermelon salad. Both excellent. Also had the shrimp tacos - simply made but very good. The service was very attentive. It's hard to find a lot of reasonably priced dining options in the West Village but have definitely added this one to my list.

Very nice place in the West Village.When we arrived around 3:40pm, we didn't realize the kitchen would be closing in 20 minutes. They kindly informed us of this, asked if it was ok and promptly accommodated us.Food was delicious and cooked exactly as ordered (1 rare cheese burger and 1 medium rare cheese burger) French fries (Old Bay) we're yummy and not greasy at all. Guac and chips were very good.Would definitely recommend!
I was disappointed with the ambiance. The salad was good and my entree was meh. Our waiter created an after dinner cocktail for us, that was delicious and indicated that he was listening to us. It was a good save for a disappointing evening.

Good service. Good location. Good portioning, very nice presentation, not overly sauced or salted, not complaints. Great for weekend brunch, especially outside. Highly recommend.

Unfortunately food wasn't great. I had the salmon Benedict which was served in a sweet biscuits and the hollandaise had some after test also half of the potatoes were Still hard.Also the guacamole was missing some flavor.Service was overall good.

The Amish chicken was nice, but the lobster roll was the worst we ever tasted, so much mayo sauce we could not even taste the lobster meat whose texture was not what you would expect from lobster (small, mushy bits rather than chunky, crispy bits). At $28 for the roll, a complete rip off. Avoid the roll. The Brussels sprouts were undercooked and too lemony: avoid. Service was very good.
My group made it to happy hour and it did not disappoint. The staff was super friendly and the food was great. Oysters from Massachusetts were tasty. Shrimp on skewers on toast was perfectly cooked. Black ink pasta was also very good. Will come back.

Lively restaurant with warm, friendly service. The wine by the glass selections could be a little more robust to go with the excellent food. The octopus was spicy and delicious; oysters very fresh and served with a light mignonette sauce and hot sauce. Roasted Brussels sprouts were the perfect balance of crispy and chewy. A really pleasant evening.

Lovely spot for a summer, early outdoor dining date. Charming maitresse and table servers, great choices for non-alcoholic drinks aside from cocktails, and very good food. Will go back soon.

If I could give less than one I would… food is not the greatest. The service is much worst and inattentive not to mentioned they don’t really care who they’re serving. Extremely disappointed to come here instead of the other restaurants in the area. The overall rating is overrated in my opinion…. will not be coming back to this place in the future.

Surprisingly better than what the menu looks like! Menu is not very creative, very standard (boring?) fare. But the execution is much, much better, leading to this place being excellent value for quality. Amazingly had to book for a 10:00am Sunday, but indeed it was full by 11:00, so beware. Coffee machine was broken down so can't comment on coffee...
