The only place in the West Village that does not miss the mark on a few key things each meal. It was an absolute pleasure to dine here. I enjoyed the Scotch Egg and Lamb Burger, which were in the top 1%. The bar was friendly, and I had no problem eating in peace. Further, I was able to discuss the worlds of food, etiquette, scotch and restaurants with someone who cared. There was not one missed beat in any aspect of my experience. Great spot for some Happy Hour beverages in a cosy environment. There's a few decent beers and some really great whiskys. The pre-7pm offer was a flight of 3 interesting Scotch Whisky tasters for $20, which was very reasonable. Draft beers were $5. Food was hearty and good for sharing.

Came here for a friend's birthday brunch which offers bottomless mimosas, bloody marys, moscow mule and aperol spritzin'. Service was great and do I enjoy the vibe there. I did order the burger which was SOOOO GOOD! BUT, I did order a medium-rare and it came out rarer vs medium-rare. The server took it back and gave me a new burger which was perfectly cooked.
