My husband had my 50th birthday at Hughwater Rooftop . Everything was fantastic . The staff was very easy to work with . We had both floors for our event. Amazing views, space and atmosphere. There was one bartender on each floor. People loved the indoor outdoor space even in October. Food was gone quickly and everyone loved their drinks . Chris helped coordinate everything nd had excellent suggestions. Highly recommend, would not change a thing

I can't comment on the drinks or service, but this is not the place to go if you are after a view or ambience. There is no view unless you love looking at the sides of nearby buildings, and it smells very strongly of air freshener.

~Rooftop bar with limitation~ Located on the 25th floor of Indigo Hotel in FiDi. It has very limited space. Lounge areas are sectional and feel cramped. Small balcony with limited space and view. Ambience seems chaotic and unorganized.

I stayed at the hotel where this bar is located and decided to go to the rooftop to have a drink. The drink I had was not great, I ordered one of the espresso martinis they offer.
Most espresso martinis come garnished in a trio of beans and they couldn’t be bothered, even though it was still $20. I believe they also pre-make the espresso instead of pulling fresh shots.
In addition, this place is counter service, meaning I have to stand at the bar to order my drink, I have to wait for it to be made, pay at the bar before leaving, etc. and I am charged an auto gratuity of 20%?? In addition, the POS also asks for an extra gratuity on top of that.
Why am I paying an extra $4 for this cocktail for if there is no service? I would rather go to any of the highly rated, cocktail bars that NYC has to offer that will give me a drink that is worth the $20 AND provides me with something actually worth a 20% gratuity. Anyway, I won’t be retuning to this bar. Go literally anywhere else for a better drink and something actually worth the money.
Oh, and they also had the top potion of the rooftop closed off for a private party to really seal the deal.

Had a reservation but showed up and was told there were multiple private parties going on, so there were no available tables, and we just left. Why not call me and tell me that and cancel the reservation, so I didn't have to waste my time?

Unfortunately when we got to the place we did not stay. I was very disappointed that on the website they advertised all day Friday happy hour but when we go there that was not the case. I was told it no longer exist. I explained it's false advertisement and that is very disappointing and misleading. It was advertised on the website. When we arrived they seated up in a small area by ourselves and gave us a sushi menu. We did not want a sushi menu. We ended up leaving. I have never been anywhere where the restaurant didn't honor what they have on their website. They didn't have a happy hour. I felt like the place was more concerned about booking events then accommodating guest for the mistake they made. I probably won't go again to this place.

Hands down the worst experience of all. On Valentine's day we had 2 drinks and walked out as our food we ordered never arrived. This place cannot be called rooftop. There is no view. There is no atmosphere. Despite the manager's effort, that from downstairs moved us upstairs, the night just got worse, the place was cold as it is enclosed only by a flimsy structure. We paid the 2 drinks and left. I should have considered the other poor reviews.
