I think this place changed since infatuation reviewed it. It's really expensive and the BBQ is not good. I had the brisket and ribs.

Incompetent useless staff . Along with Poor management make the dining experience difficult at best. After being shouted the instructions. I was left to figure on my own. Clearly, I was overcharged at the food counter for an unpleasant meal. I was not only over price poorly cooked with Mac and cheese along with the wings were Cold. I was told they would bring out my sides after I sat for an unreasonable amount of time I went back to the counter where my sides were just sitting on a tray. They should have been given to me along with my meat initially. Never while I go back never will. I recommend this extremely path pathetic excuse for a barbecue restaurant. Disgusting. That’s my word for my experience.

Really great BBQ for NYC!! The Brisket was mouth melting tender and tasty. Highly recommend when craving a bit of TX!!
Always a great time at Hill Country. As a native Austin TX transplant it brings me back to my roots. Excellent brisket, beans, and collard greens. Wait staff seemed a bit off and slow and also cleared our waters while we got food, but nothing ruined the night.

NCY Hill Country BBQ was simply fantastic. Our waitress was super friendly and helpful and the food was amazing- best BBQ we have ever had 100% would recommend a visit.

This used to be one of my favorite places. The prices have gone up so much and the service wasn't as friendly as it was. I'm not saying I had a bad experience, but it wasn't as friendly and fun as I remember. It used to always be crowded, not sure why this time around it was relatively quiet for a weekend.
