Ordering process is a complete mess, and no one bothers to help until the whole area is swarmed with people. Several items were promised to be delivered to the table, but we had to remind people several times about it and it took way too long. Good people seem to be working there, they just seem very understaffed. The food is good, but the organization of the place needs to be fixed.
The food seems to have decreased in quality and increased in cost in the last few years. It's ok if you need Texas style bbq, but a just ok version that's overpriced.
Excellent bbq. Brisket sandwich was great as well as the smoked turkey sandwich. Collard greens and waffle fries are a must!
Had not been here in a while, since well before covid. I won't go back. When I want bbq will head to Cowgirl Had reservations, the person at the greeting stand took me to a table mumbled something and pointed to the sign with the QR code Didn't realize it is now a serve yourself/cafeteria type place , no table service. Fun fact, the QR code didn't match the online menu, nor the paper menu that my colleague go from the bar after I tried getting drinks at the bar and was basically told no you need to order with your meal So, figure out what to order, go up to the cashier type thing, put the order in, 2 meats , don't like the sides got waffle fries instead. Now comes the fun part. For a drink I asked for club soda with lime, apparently that is quite an exotic order in Hill Country, cashier couldn't figure out how to do, calked a colleague over who also could not figure it out, told them never mind and got a liquid death instead. The fun wasn't over yet: trying to pay/check out has default setting for 22% tip . FOR WHAT ? There was no service, and payment machine very difficult to get to zero tip, so paid the 22% tip FOR NO SERVICE. I think I paid about $60 for two slices of brisket, 2 scoops of pulled pork, waffle fries and a can of liquid death The brisket and pork were just okay, waffle fried good but not worth this price and aggravation. I remember this place with servers who knew the menu from the “ all the ribs you can eat” Monday nights.
Food was delicious but lukewarm at best! All the meat and side dishes got cold quickly. It might be better to do takeout and warm it up at home.
Great ambience Food was a bit underwhelming and below my expectations (compared to Austin) Great service
This was great for a quick yummy meal. We went for lunch and appreciated the cafeteria style and all the servers were so nice.
Excellent spot food service Very friendly Beautiful blonde waitress had to throw that in
Excellent address! The atmosphere in the restaurant is very nice, the people are lovely and the food is fabulous!
Be careful not to order too much, the portions are generous, we recommend sharing the dishes with several people :)
Big favorite for the briskets and the mac & cheese, if you love good meat you will be served ?

Ordered the sliced brisket sandwich and salad. The salad was good dressed it with a chipotle creamy sauce, not bad. The sliced brisket was another story, it was super salty and moderately tender. I was really disappointed with the salt level it was almost inedible, maybe it was part of a batch.

The first thing we noticed here was that the hostess had a very good attitude and was willing to give us promptly seated. The food was decent here and of a good portion size although we felt that the baked beans could have used a bit more brown sugar as well as the sweet potato dish we had. But hey, I’m from Alabama.Lol. The pulled pork I had was tasty and had a mustard like flavor that was good. The restaurant was clean

I just had me a brisket sandwich. I can't say anything bad about it. It was good. Just wished all the toppings were placed into the sandwich instead of it being separate. I'm a construction worker, so hands are dirty all the time no matter how much I wash them, lol. I had to place ingredients myself. There's nothing wrong with that. In my head, I was thinking I would just grab and eat. The brisket was nice and tender. Anything placed on a potatoe bun is amazing. Also got me the Mac and cheese, which I shall say was also good. It's far from what I was expecting since the wife always makes it for me, and she knows how to make a mean Mac and cheese. She spoils me too much. I try to compare outside food to hers, and it just doesn't hit like hers. Again, I enjoyed the meal, and thank you for the wipe. That was cool. I wanted to get the turkey club or the hot honey fried chicken, but I was told that the kitchen is closed until 4 pm. I didn't know that. My lunch is at 12, so I guess I'll never be able to try me a club. Also wanted to try the banana pudding, and I totally missed getting me one. Next time, I will try something new. The place wasn't bad. I'd prefer here than other spots around me that don't satisfy my craving. You guys hit the spot. Thank you. I'm a happy man after that sandwich. ? took me 4 bites to finish that brisket, lol.
