This is my favorite south asian restaurant in all of nyc. The ambience is simple, nothing fancy. But the flavors are incredible. The daal makhani is so good, not overly relying on the butter like at many restaurants. The Chana saag is probably my favorite though. The chow mein and momos also excellent. We get the lunch special whenever we can. Also the people who work here are so kind, and provide wonderful service. We look forward to each visit.
changed my life to a large degree

Disgusting and Freezing – Never Again!
I have no idea how this place is still in business. The moment you walk in, you’re hit with an ice-cold draft—it’s like they don’t believe in heating. I had to keep my jacket on the entire time, and I still couldn’t feel my fingers. Eating in these conditions was miserable.
But the worst part? The absolute FILTH. The floors were sticky, the tables hadn’t been wiped in who knows how long, and don’t even get me started on the bathrooms—I’ve seen cleaner gas station restrooms. There was dust, crumbs, and who-knows-what in every corner. It was honestly stomach-turning.
I wouldn’t eat here again if someone paid me. This place needs to be shut down for health violations ASAP.

Absolutely Horrible Experience – Avoid at All Costs!
If I could give this place zero stars, I would. This is hands down the worst Indian restaurant I have ever been to. The chicken was OLD, dry, and had a weird smell—clearly not fresh. The overall food quality was beyond terrible; everything tasted stale and poorly prepared.
To make things worse, the service was shockingly bad. The staff acted like they were doing us a favor by even acknowledging our presence. They were slow, rude, and had absolutely no interest in serving customers properly. The audacity? They sat right in front of us, eating their own food while we waited forever for ours—giving us attitude the entire time.
This place is a joke. Do yourself a favor and stay far, far away.

Ordered the lunch special, take out. Was looking forward to it. The guy at the register was nice and when I called he was pleasant and explained what was and wasn't part of the lunch special. In any case food was not bad, but not the best either. The naan was delicious. The portion sizes were pretty disappointing. I suppose if you eat in you will receive much larger portions. The dessert will literally laughably, you will see in the pics, it is served in a sauce on the side container.

Pretty unprofessional experience with this place... Made an online order through their platform a bit before their opening time today. Then I did not heard anything from them for over an hour. Tried to call them, and after 15 minutes of being unsuccessful they just said that they ran late (namely, they opened one hour later than what they informed here)...
And after all this hassle, they barely offer an apology... Pretty bad experience overall.

The food is waaay too sweet. The service is amazing which is the sad part. I just don’t get why it’s so sugary?! I never ate sugary indian food usually it’s just a mix of spices. I guess it’s to add flavor in a quicker way? Not good for one’s health

Great option if you craving for Indo-Nepalese flavor. We tried out the daal ,Mutter Paneer and Butter Chicken and all of them turned out to be delicious .
There is option to carry out and eat in too .Most of the people were doing carry out but we preferred to eat out there .
Simple and fresh food at a decent price .
Vegetarian options: There are a good amount of items that are vegetarian in that menu
