I love this restaurant! I have always had a great experience here. The food is delicious, and the service is great. The quality of fish is incredible too! Highly recommend.

Excellent sushi at a small, chic space on the UES. Great place for a quiet lunch.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!My friends and I were looking forward to trying this new restaurant. Form the inside and outside it looks very upscale and we were expecting a good meal. On Friday night, they ran out of rice and with our food they gave us cold and terrible Indian rice from the restaurant next door. With the chicken teriyaki platter it was supposed to come with miso soup, sushi rice, and a salad. AFTER AN HOUR AND A HALF of waiting we were served overcooked chicken drowned with sauce, no miso soup, a sad excuse for a salad. We also had ordered a sushi roll that was never given to us. We tried to leave before the food arrived as we were sitting there for an hour with nothing on the table. The restaurant refused to comp the meal after no-one ate their food. Unacceptable for a restaurant on the upper east side to provide such a poor experience on a FRIDAY NIGHT! My friends and I will be sure to tell others in this neighborhood to ignore this restaurant. A WASTE OF MONEY AND TIME. DO NOT GO!

Horrible experience. Waited an hour and a half for an incomplete Chicken Teriyaki. Miso soup didn’t come and the cold, undercooked rice was in a small bowl from the Indian restaurant next door. Treated very poorly. Thought I was going to a nice sushi place with my friends on a Friday evening but it ended up ruining the evening.

Worst restaurant I’ve ever been. We waited 90min and instead of what we ordered they gave us: no sushi because they said they are out of rice. One of us is vegetarian and got fried rice and the waiter said the rice is from the Indian restaurant next door. No sorries and they bring the check for food we never got or for the cold Indian rice. Terrible experience

The food is okay, not worth the price, but I would go again for Luis, the chef that made my omakase. He was an expert and so friendly. Please give him a raise!!

Restaurantji Recommends
We had two nigiri, a roll, a yuzu avocado salad, some wine, on a Monday. All really very good and priced accordingly. Server friendly with no particular knowledge of sushi. Playlist awkwardly loud M.I.A., TLC etc., made the place feel kinda fast food despite the elegant interior but

I loved the decor and ambience of the restaurant. The bar is the best place, the chef prepares the dishes in front of you.
Nice place to enjoy good food and the friendly attention of its staff.
