Embodiment of crisp, sunny, airy brunch. Great selection of both coffees AND cocktails. Love coming here

On the whole, this place is expensive but decent. However the other day my 13yr old went there on his own, paid $10 [inc tip] & got around 15 fries in a box. When they were asked if thats fair - zero response.. Honestly it'smore about treating kids right than the insane price. Shame

The mushroom toast used to be my favorite brunch EVER, like of any restaurant. I am so so sad they changed the recipe. Please switch it back to the pesto in this pic, not tomato! Their oat milk lattes are amazing.

Nestled inconspicuously in midtown (on the ground floor of The Copper building), Hole in the Wall exudes an unexpected chic charm that keeps me coming back time and again. The interior boasts a stunning giant wall adorned with lush greenery, creating a picturesque setting. Despite its unassuming facade, the restaurant offers great views of the river through its floor-to-ceiling windows, bathing the space in natural light on sunny days, despite the nearby FDR and proximity to the ferry station. The food is nothing short of excellent. The burger, tender and juicy, is a standout favorite, while the fried chicken sandwich, though a touch dry for my palate, still manages to please. Hole in the Wall also excels in offering great happy hour deals and consistently delicious espresso coffee. What truly sets this establishment apart is its efficient service and minimal wait times, a rarity compared to other brunch spots in the neighborhood. The most recent visit I came around 1pm on a Sunday, and we were seated right away whereas it was a 40-minute wait at other comparable places in the neighborhood.

This is GREAT brunch place. We thoroughly enjoyed all the food we had - everything was great. I ordered the Brekkie Roll (on toasted brioche), but it's a breakfast sandwich with eggs (I always ask for a soft scramble), cheddar cheese, bacon and inside it brings on of their delicious hash brown patties. The fries that come with the dish were great too. Their menu star is the hash brown patties, HIGHLY recommend. They do NOT come included as a substitute for the fries already in your dish, so you have to pay $5 for 2 pieces - but they are absolutely worth it. They are on the smaller side. My friend had the Crispy Chicken 'Sando' and she said it was the best chicken sandwich she'd ever had. I tried it and it was good. Their latte was also great. Overall, if it was up to me, I'd do brunch here every morning. The place itself is pleasant too. It's full of a younger (college age) crowd.

It's a great place with delicious food, but I wouldn't recommend the pulled pork Benedict. Everything else is fantastic though.

Wonderful casual meal spot with breathtaking East River views. The service was very nice and attentive. The coffee was not piping hot. This is an easy fix and we definitely will return.Vegetarian options: The avocado toast is scrumptious!Dietary restrictions: With plenty of sides, it was easy to create a flexible meal.

Staff seemed grumpy when we wanted to get coffee and a snack to go. Only croissants are available for baked good options. Flat white was sour. Space looked nice.

Wanted to give it a straight 5 but couldn't.What a pleasant surprise to have come across this place just blocks away from my home. Trulky the type of place I like on a weekend or evening. Love the glass walls and organic feel to it. Staff were excellent & attentive. The drinks were exceptional but maybe needed a tiny be more alcohol. The food was really good & tasty. Yet my pork toast was on the cold side, which was a shame because the flavors were great. The pork just needed to be warm and crispy. Also, there were no dessert options on the brunch menu. Please add something. Waffles do not cut it. Other than that, I will definitely be coming back to try the rest of the brunch menu, and for sure, it's the dinner menu as well.
