I use to come here as a kid alot. The location didnt even have a name at the time. It use to be ran by an older lady but it seems like she has two other women in the front of the house taking care of things for her.
This place is great for breakfast and lunch. It is a small spot and gets crowded really quick. The food here has always been amazing because theres grandmas cooking. You can't go wrong with that.
During my last visit i got breakfast from there. I got three breakfast specials. It came with eggs, home fries, small piece of italian bread and whatever meat you want. I got two with bacon and one with sausage. It was really good. Simple but delicious.
I will continue to come here and support this small business. The prices are still reasonable and everything is fresh. I highly recommend it here.

We arrived and it was pretty quiet so had our pick of tables. It has a great feel but the service was terrible. We were the only people sitting outside but ended up waiting that long we left. I can’t comment of the food or drinks but the service meant we didn’t experience it.
Lovley pub very interesting bought a tshirt people are very nice nice setting and very interesting sight seeing place not hard to find
Cool little spot with some really good food. There is plenty of outside seating available. Staff were friendly as well.
So the first time I ordered they forget to bring my drink .. second time I order they get my order wrong they gave me eggs when I specified I can’t eat eggs I’m allergic to them .. I wanted fried cheese instead so I call them and she says ok I will have the cheese delivered to you here I am 3 hours later no cheese no phone call am I will never purchase from here again all they do is yell inside this place very unprofessional…I tossed the food egg yolk was all over it so I wasted my money!!!!
I came here with my girlfriend from Australia as she has been here before. We got here and the menu had been completely changed since she last visited with almost nothing on the menu resembling Aussie foods. Except for the good coffee. The side salad was overly dressed in dressing the only thing getting this place 3 stars is the okay service and the coffee. Disappointed ?
A really wonderfull tiny restaurant with great breakfast menu. We were there teice in 5 days, all family members liked it very much and when we do our next NYC trip, we will come again!
I have visited this establishment previous and it was an ok experience. I am not sure what happened this time around. I was only able to take 2 sips of my hot coffee before the entire thing fell directly into my lap. Ruining my pants right before work. The coffee cups are flimsy , The top that was giving to me was for a latte and the lid could barley fit on the cup.I get that the cost of materials are up due to the increase of prices, I get it but customers shouldn't have to get severely burned to save the owner a few extra bucks. The two sips of coffee that I was able to encounter didn't really do it for me.Next time I will just stick to my normal Breakfast spot at the bakery down the block.
The ladies have been here for so may years the food is delicious and affordable prices, I've been coming here since I was a little girl and now I bring my children here, love this place❤️
I am an Australian and I am horrified at what they claim to be Aussie food. Apart from the steak having no seasoning or taste, the WORST thing by far was the sticky date pudding. For any Aussie to see this being advertised as sticky date pudding (see picture), it’s like a stab in the guts. It was more like left over banana cake. No sticky date sauce nothing. We also sat outdoors and they refused to serve us! Not Australian in any way and total false advertising. don’t try it!!

The outdoor seating is in a courtyard area, which was perfect for a Sunday brunch. Our group ordered the Avocado Smash, Chili Scrambled Eggs, And Smoked Salmon Toast, and all were excellent. The smoothies were good as well. Saw the indoor seating area, and would not have enjoyed that nearly as much.
Looking for a local Brunch spot in the city and found Hole in the Wall, they don’t have a lot of options for brunch but I encountered the best breakfast sandwich ever! The Brekkie Roll was amazing. Bread was fresh and light, eggs/bacon done perfectly, and aioli had the right amount of flavor. Will add it to the “go back to” list every time.
We took the family for breakfast here on our first day in NYC. Amazing selection and hearty meals set us up for a whole day out. Great staff, simple aesthetic, top-notch food and coffee. Well done to the whole team!
As a visitor from NZ I found this place delectable. The food was styly, nutritious and filling. We went back 3 times in our 3 week stay and I'd be back again tomorrow, if I could, for a most comfortable relaxing brunch. I'm missing this place and I'm stuck in 2 weeks of MIQ back in NZ doing it hard. I think one of the overriding factors that made this Hole in The Wall soooo good was the special service and attention we got from the Wait Staff. We were a Family of 6 (2 GPs, 2P and 2 wee kids) and we felt nothing but gratitude for the kind attention given to us and especially our 2 year old Granddaughter. We were made to feel extremely comfortable. (Liam was The Man!) We shall be returning at our 1st opportunity. Kind regards.
Delicious brunch-style food, fair prices, and friendly staff. We would recommend this restaurant if you are in this are of Manhattan.
