The NOLA fried chicken was delicious! However, I got served food poisoning after eating La Tour (oyster tower). I puked for three hours. The management didn’t take any responsibility after I reported and only said they will “reach out to other customers and ask”.

Great spot!! The atmosphere is the coolest thing about this place, you could stay here for hours and not clock everything on the walls. The drinks are insanely priced but good and the wine is the same price as cocktails which is ridiculous. The wait staff is not very friendly, but it’s worth it for the atmosphere!

Cute place but disappointed with our experience. We had a reservation booked thru their ideal platform (Resy) for a large party; we called in to up the reservation number and were forwarded to their AI system who confirmed the change via txt, but when we arrived, staff said they couldn’t accommodate us for at least another hour after our reservation time bc the system somehow canceled our reservation when we updated the number. That information was not relayed us, and the text message implied that the change to our reservation was successful. Not only were we treated like it was our fault for the error, but the manager didn’t offer any sort of accommodation. We were super excited to try this place; sad I’m now leaving a 1 star review.
Note to restaurant: super weird that your reservation system automatically throws parties of 8 to the bar. And since you’re relying on AI to handle incoming calls, could be good to make sure your little automatic messages reflect accurate information on what the changes to a reservation could mean for the customer.

A cool spot that’s under the street, great place to take visitors from out of the city. Great cocktails and drinks, good music, fun vibes, even if it’s a bit small. Definitely recommend a reservation if you’re in a party of 2 or more, but this is also a place you could take a date on a whim for a fun “hey I know a cool spot” type of ending to a night.

They made us wait 30 minutes even though we had a reservation. Not even at a bar or something, just standing there in everyone's way.

Overpriced, overcrowded and overated. We made a reservation and still had to wait standing up for 25 min. Btw, they charge if you don't show up. Better not waste your time.

Unfortunately I didn’t get to experience this Joe’s Crab Shack rip off. I popped in with friends for a drink on a Monday night. Scene … there are 5 people spread about, we were seated at a bar in the corner. While perusing the menu, a troll pushes a sign into my face, ‘gentleman, no tank tops’. See below. 1) Not a gentleman. 2) With women in crop top, a-tanks. I was asked to leave for my ‘tank top’ (see bow) and told such shirts were unhygienic. This felt targeted and problematic. I suggest anyone who’s not a douche go around the corner to Odeon for an evolved experience. Xx

Amazing service, great food and drinks. My only feedback is that the temperature in the place is pretty hot. If it was more comfortable we would have stayed to have drinks after dinner.

Very chill place with a great vibe! We ducked in after a show at the PAC on a tip from a friend and had a great time. Decor is super cute and the service was incredibly attentive- we overheard one of the servers (or the owner?) giving another girl a hiccup remedy. Lemon, bitters, and sugar - try it at home. Lots of tables and space despite the tiny entrance! Cocktails were delicious, very well balanced, and HUGE.

Id heard really good things about Holywater and was excited to give it a try! We went around 6pm on a Saturday night. It was super light when we arrived, maybe 8 or so other people.

We opted to sit in the lounge which has really cool boat decor. Our waiter was really lovely and super attentive. Our drinks were really good, we ordered the Holywater (served with a small flame) and the Sazerac, both were very well made! However, the food was a bit disappointing. We ordered the pickles and fried chicken. We were surprised to learn that the chicken came with exactly 2 hush puppies as the side. We literally had to ask if that was on purpose (the answer was yes).

While it was an overall good experience, prices everywhere are so high in manhattan, I wouldn’t come back and not sure I’d recommend based on overall price value.
