Hidden gem!! Best scallion ginger lobster in nyc (and at a v reasonable $35!). This place does not seem to get tourists and is totally no frills and legit. The roast chicken was also spectacular

Small but worth it if the wait isn't long. Fantastic Chinese food. $9 lunch. Peking duck, fried rice, lo mein are all excellent. No wait on a Wednesday lunch.

Absolutely amazing Cantonese food! Came here with my husband and my in laws on the first day of CNY and they did not disappoint. I was worried if there’ll be a wait since it’s a busy day in Chinatown but we were seated quickly. Friendly service and the food portion were just right. We finished everything without any leftover, just truly delicious. Order the triple treasure with chili & spicy salt and thank me later 😉

The best spot for great Chinese food in NYC! That is a bold statement! My family has been going here for over 40 years! This place is a local favorite IYKYK! This is not your tourist spot. If you want the NYC glitz go to PF Changs and get your Lychee Martini there. This place is about good old home cooking vibes. The low rating here are the tourist who don't get it. I prefer no tourist there and keeping it real local.

A discover we made, very good prices and good portions; Hop Lee is the right place to eat if you want to be comfortable and quiet. This place only accepts cash , so be sure that u have it. They have like a lunch menu from 11 to 5 , plates are smaller but enough for 1. We spend $20 for two, ordering sesame chicken, beef with Chinese vegetables and two portions of rice. When you sit they bring a teapot with a tea i never knew what it was. Good attention.

This place has much better food then Wo Hop across the street. I enjoyed my experience very much.

Food was average. Service was slow and kept trying to upsell me on what I was ordering. Worst part was my party paid the bill, then were stopped as we were leaving as they forgot to add a few items and were met with hostility. Overall uncomfortable experience and average food.

little hole-in-the-wall place, cash only, very sketchy. dirty and unorganized. food was decent, nothing special, and very overpriced for what it is (we paid $80 for 4 lunch plates). the peking duck was drowning in grease and oil. service was atrocious. my boyfriend and i were treated extremely passive aggressively by all the staff. how can there be six servers at a seven table restaurant and no efficiency? the servers all sat down to eat a meal together in the middle of the dining room during service, very unprofessional while we were waiting 30 minutes for our food. all around us were customers being waited on hand and foot, plate after plate of steaming hot food while we sat waiting for one appetizer. i’m not one to leave bad reviews on restaurants, but i left feeling like a burden with slop thrown in my face. do not come here.
