Stopped by this random Chinese takeout place near my work. Stepping in, it's one long corridor of tables and chairs and to the right is the ordering/kitchen. The combo dishes range around $12 which is decently priced for the neighborhood. I got the beef chow fun for $13 and honestly, it was pretty decent and wasn't stuck together. I won't say it's the best one I had but for a Chinese take out, it has good flavoring but I wish the beef was more sliced thin and more bean sprouts added. Based on today's visit, I would give it a high 3 stars and will visit again. UPDATE: I went back today Feb 20th and ordered chicken with broccoli combo with white rice. It came with an egg roll which was somewhat hard in some areas meaning they did not fry it completely. Also the chicken was in chunks and it goes back to what I said above earlier, they need to do a better job slicing their proteins as things should not come chunky. Based off two visits now, I will give this place 2 stars.

Authentic Chinese take out. Best Roast pork, duck, pig in Manhattan midtown. Yeung chow fried rice, stir fired house special rice noodles, boneless spare ribs. Hot and sour soup, sesame chicken general tso's chicken, etc. Glad to have them around in last 2 decades.

Would you sacrifice your dignity for superior Chinese food?Be prepared to get yelled at, pushed around, and catch your flying credit card with great aim. Because they will tell you that you are too slow at ordering and too clumsy at swiping your card. Also I hope you have good night vision. Because they literally don’t turn on the light in the back dinning area. With that said, I don’t look at myself in the mirror when I am full anyways… dignity.. well, see you another day…Kid-friendliness: Not kid friendly. Too much profanity flying around

This (expletive) goes crazy for the price. Do not order the bourbon chicken though but everything else is gas

This is some of the best Chinese food I've had north of Chinatown. If you're looking for white table cloths, and a place to impress your date, this is not the place for you. It has all the ambience of a diner. however, if it's authentic Cantonese food, you're looking for, go no further. The roast duck noodle soup was perfect. They also have salt and pepper shrimp on the menu. Which I'm going to try next time I'm there. They do a lot of takeout business which might be the best option, especially in the winter, since the heat was rather low when I was there. in summary, great food, low-end atmosphere

It's your average NYC Chinese Takeout place except bigger and with plenty of seating. It looks like a very popular spot to grab lunch where you tell the counter what # you want from their Menu which is plainly displayed in front of you. Don't count on them getting your special requests done. They got mine wrong (I wanted brown rice instead of regular white). I guess can't blame them as it was the lunch rush still (it was 2pm when I was there)??? Still, for the price, anything you get here will have been cooked fresh for you and is worth it for being in Midtown Manhattan. I will definitely go to them again because the food is good and I can get it FAST.

Delicious, freshly prepared Cantonese chines food. Roasted duck, pork and all the dishes are fresh. This place attracts lots of Chinese as its authentic, delicious food - must do place, try the roasted duck
