Waitress are very very inconsiderate, act like they are not even being talked to, ignore clients, very bad face expressions, food was terrible ( skirt steak) was very well over cooked tasting like burnt and smelling spoiled!!!! Drinks were not bad at all(frozen margs) just the food and service was terrible

Very good food especially seafood soup and molcajete
The place is very cozy, very clean, I like the decoration, but to begin with, they don't offer an appetizer while you wait for the food, as in other places, secondly, they charge extra on the bill to add flavor to a michelada that is not specified on the menu, thirdly The price of the mixed seafood cocktail is too expensive for the amount they serve, it looks more like picó d gallo. The seafood you have to look for and lastly, the tortilla soup, I can't complain about the flavor, it's very delicious but they should update it now. The bill appears more expensive than what it says on the menu.

Our waitress did not have a smile all night. Almost like we were a burden. We were served our appetizers without ordering our main meal. We sat hungry waiting to order and then for the food.
Food was ok.
It was my anniversary and I went with family and a rat walked on the wall. It took a while before any workers came to help. No apologies were offered. And no discounts whatsoever.

Great little Mexican place in East Harlem. The happy hour has drinks discounted (from 4-7pm M-F I believe) and the drinks were very tasty. We even came back the next night just for drinks. The food and service was excellent. The atmosphere was perfect and relaxing. They do have a ramp over the entrance stairs. I would highly recommend stopping by after work for some great food and tasty drinks.

The name might throw you off as it being mainstream Mexican food, do not be fooled. This place is great. We had dinner in the inner patio. The atmosphere was cozy and bright. We had the happy hour frozen margaritas and they were amazing. The chilaquiles are out of this world delicious. Plus fresh guacamole you can never go wrong. Will be coming back.

Best burritos in the city! Hot Jalapeño is my go-to spot for Mexican food. Great outdoor patio and tasty drinks. A must visit - if you're in the neighborhood.
