This Place is surprisingly clean. Very reasonable price for the choices of food and serving.I got the $11 choices of 3. Very satisfied. Not the most delicious chinese food, but I'd take it anytime

Solid food. Get the meatballs and get the noodles. The noodles have a Japanese taste to them that is different from the usual soya sauce chow mian at other places

I thought I should share that I had a bad experience here at Hua Cheng. They didn't receive my Door Dash preorder, so when I went to pick it up and showed my phone, they didn't have the order and didn't speak or read enough English to understand what I was asking. They yelled at me for standing too close to the counter and the guy kept yelling, "I don't know you! Why should I do anything for you?!"When I asked to order there and pay again, they just ignored me even though I showed cash and said, "I need to get food now." Eventually, when I held up a menu with the money and pointed, they took the order and made the food. But needless to say, I won't be back.

Ordered off of Uber eats and the food was very disappointing, over priced for the taste of the food, bland fried rice, the vegetables tasted frozen, and mushy general tso chicken :(

It's crazy, it's really delicious haha. If your accommodation is nearby, it's the best as a side dish with drinks. The fried rice was really delicious as all the pieces were stir-fried.

Not much to look at, the ambiance , about 6 single tables to sit.Had takeaways, whenever i have been there.Good value for the money meat where you can choose a rice / noodles potion and 3 entrees.

Value for money foods. Fried rice is for sure the best. USD12 for 3 dishes with rice + drink ?

Staff was a little rude when we walked in. Food was good, not much room to dine in but it worked. Don’t make the same mistake we did, they serve you the food, you don’t serve yourself ? (you’ll understand what I mean when you walk in)

I came across this accidentally and I happened to be hungry. This was early Sunday evening around 5PM when I found this place. Very low key mom and pop restaurant for you and your friends can grab an affordable lunch or dinner,..eat and be on your way. Not a place for your first date or to sit there with your laptop. There are other places for that, but for this place it serves its purpose - to feed you and be on your way. I looked at the choices of hot food and it looked fresh and not, not like it was sitting there for hours. I got the pepper steak, beef with broccoli and sweet and sour chicken. They have sweat and sour pork too, but I chose the chicken. The man in the kitchen was cooking constantly.I'm just here for the food, don't care about decor, but I do care about cleanliness. The tables and chairs were clean and place was tidy. It's a small mom and pop place, so come for the food to feed your hunger pangs and go. The woman that served me and also the cashier was nice. Three things now $11 with tax comes out to $11.95. Can't argue for the price for a quick lunch or casual dinner. Will definitely be back.

This is a fantastic Chinese food experience for a fantastic price. Look at all this you get for $11 any time of the day. Friendly and speedy service and plenty of options to choose from their "pick 3 entrees" ordering system. Will definitely be going here regularly. You'd be silly to choose a similar spot nearby over Hua Cheng.

It's really a surprise (good) to us that we found really decent authentic Chinese food at China Xiang in Manhattan while almost every friend told me the best Chinese food is in China Town or Flushing (we tried 2 restaurants with 4.5+ rate, neither impressed us). Now, I'll have to disagree with them. The most precious matter we enjoyed is the detail attention the chef dedicated to the food. Authetic Chinese fried rice and soup are 2 dishes show the true expertise and skills of a chef. They are so common and most of Chinese families make them often but could not make them well tasted as an experienced chef makes, but both of them are made very well here. The lady was so sweet and kind, i ordered takeout fried rice, evn from buffet it was so fresh and tasted just the way i wanted it at that time, she even gave me a free soda i did not understand much what she said but she was really sweet and welcoming.
