Nice neighborhood spot. Came with a group of 10 people for lunch and they were very accommodating even though I know it’s not easy to host large groups because of the space. The food was delicious and reasonably priced and service was excellent. Love this place for lunch and will return.

In the establishment. There is really good food! The service can be a bit sketchy. As the lady who gets the Uber eats pick up order was very rude and disrespectful. Dealing with food you should have a decent amount of genuine communication. This is only my second time eating from the place and I hope this will change!

Solid good spot in East Village that can seat a large group without a reservation! I appreciated that they made my drunken noodles with less sauce after I requested

Yesterday, I picked up food at Hub Thai, a small business I truly love and support. I come here often, both to dine in and order to-go, because the food is consistently delicious, the prices are reasonable, and the staff always make you feel welcome.

Normally, I don’t write reviews, but I really wanted to leave 5 stars for a place that means a lot to me.

On 12/17 around 1:00 PM, while waiting for my order, I witnessed an uncomfortable situation. Three staff members stood together, patiently listening as a middle-aged man harshly criticized the Watiess recipe, saying it had too many ingredients and tasted too sweet. The staff tried to explain the dish and even offered alternatives, but he did not allow them space to speak and threatened to leave a Google review.

It was awkward to witness, and as someone who genuinely loves this restaurant, I felt bad for the team. I just wanted to show my support and appreciation.

Hub Thai, we truly love you. Your food brings us back again and again, and your team handles tough moments with so much patience. Please keep doing what you do. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I hadn’t been in this restaurant for quite a while, I went today and it was a “bumper”. Perhaps around 12:45 pm on Wednesday and I am the 2nd customer in the restaurant and the atmosphere already felt as the waitress (actually the owner).

The lunch special come with Tum Yam and it was good but a bit salty. Then come the entre which is Pat See Ew with Beef. After the first bite I thought the sugar not spread well but the 2nd small bite confirmed it was sweet like a dessert.

I asked the owner and she jumped up and telling me the sauce is like that and I explained to her I know they mixed the oyster sauce, soy sauce and sugar… she surprised and she showed me her IG saying that she was an influencer and I told her I only write review as a traveler…And she insulted me as she claimed everything would be too sweet and I asked for a civilized conversation. Then she said fried rice but not sure the chef is willing. I told her how much I should pay and she said nothing as I only had the soup.. I left $3 for the server and let the owner know it is sad she is so defensive because I sincerely trying to tell her is is way sweeter that dessert. No opinion but good reviews that she wanted…Goid Luck!

Review for the staff, not the food A new young girl that works there she’s so rude that I literally won’t be going back unless she’s not there. I brought my godson and my friend out to eat. He’s two years old. They’re definitely not kid friendly. So if you have kids, please don’t go there. I got so much attitude from our server that I decided not to tip which I never do, but it was beyond rude.

Little neighbor gem. Excellent Pineapple Fried Rice. Some dishes are a tad salty so perhaps mention that when you order to limit the amount of salt. Good Mojito.

Top-tier Thai food. Prices are fair (about $15 for a dish like Pad Thai as of June 2025, if I recall). Comfortable seating especially the cushioned benches that are the main 4-seat tables against the wall (but there are more tables too). Fast and courteous service.

Best Thai delivery NYC!! Wife and I have been ordering out from Hub Thai for almost 5 years now, the food is fabulously consistent: always hot, fresh and delicious - not to mention authentic based on what my Caucasian American tastebuds will allow me to categorize as such.

I especially love that the staff will happily cater to my preferred spice level with a simple note added to my item ❤️

LONG LIVE “xtra long hot pepper” and “Thai spicy please”!! 🌶️ 😍🙌

Such a cute little place! We stopped here on a Friday evening and it wasn't busy. Toward the end of our meal I think the waitress forgot about bringing us our check but it was ok because we were waiting out the rain anyway. It was a nice little spot for a date night where we didn't feel rushed out the door in a city that always feels like it's on the move

Had a delightful dining experience at Hub Thai Restaurant! We ordered the Basil Fried Rice with Chicken, and it was absolutely amazing – packed with flavor, perfectly spiced, and cooked just right. For dessert, the Mango Sticky Rice was a refreshing and unique treat – soothing to the tastebuds and beautifully presented.

The service stood out as well – our waitress was polite, attentive, and helpful throughout. The food arrived quickly, and everything was served hot and fresh. Loved that the place is open late till 10:30 PM, making it a great spot for late-night cravings.

Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy authentic Thai cuisine. A special shoutout to Indian diners – if you're on the lookout for flavorful chicken fried rice options, this is definitely a must-try!

Can’t wait to visit again!
