showed up at 10:20 and they locked the door in front of me, even though they supposed to close at 10:30. When i asked why indian woman said they have to count the register. Then change the time to 10:20 on google?!?!?????? This place is a rip off anyway. Walked 3 min to Morton Williams and got what u need for a chipper price
I’ve been coming here for a while now and it’s consistently a good experience. The coffee is well made every time smooth, not bitter, and served at the right temperature. Their pastries are fresh without being overly sweet which I appreciate. The store itself is clean too so I would stop by for a quick drink or sitting down to get a bit of work done. The staff is friendly without being overly chatty. Overall it’s a reliable spot with good quality food I’m glad to have it in the neighborhood.
Food, drinks and nutrition !
The morning cashier is very rude and disrespectful, she has personal issues she shouldn’t be doing customer service at all too much mad energy over the meals
Very nice space but unfortunately, layout is unclear and staff is unfriendly and quick to frustration.
Recommending going next door or to nearby grocery stores if you can.
Bafflingly expensive for the low quality you get here
I got a bag of Lychee, they have turned spoiled and shriveled. It’s unbelievable that they are putting these overpriced stuff on the shelf constantly that severely impact consumers health.
Don’t go there!
Personally will not go back to this restaurant to have food. The buffet is $15.99 a pound, maybe I am over exaggerating but my meal came up to $40. I understand NYC prices but for that little bit of food is highway robbery IN MY OPINION. I won’t go there to buy food, but I might buy a beverage but I don’t know if it will cost me $10 for a small bottle of juice. However the food was delicious but definitely not worth $40.
I have been having breakfast there,for about 2 months,along w/ a Great

Every time I go into this place its a problem. The staff is incredibly rude and condescending. My most recent and LAST time going here I asked the man at the sandwich shop about vegan options and I didn’t like them so I decided to just get groceries. A few minutes later the man chased me down stating that I ordered a burger which I did not do given that I am VEGAN!! Him and the cashier were so belittling and made no sense trying to make me feel guilty for something that was laughably stupid and untrue. The groceries are over priced and the people are horrible. Go to the Brooklyn Fare or the Morton Williams. This place is pretending to be a real supermarket. Go to a real one.

Nice market in the area. They have organic fruit, healthy snacks, very good pastry choice from a bakery plus Asian snacks and ice cream.
I recommend always checking expiration dates though, especially on a cut fruit.
I visited this place twice in the past week for lunch at the hot bar, but the food is quite overpriced. If you fill a box with a normal adult-sized portion, it easily costs over $20.
The staff at the counter is also extremely unfriendly. During my first visit, I brought my hot bar box to the counter, and when asked if I needed a bag, I said no. I was holding my food, ready to give it to the person weighing it, but another staff member next to them suddenly reached out their hand and looked at me in a strange, annoyed way, as if asking, “Why aren’t you giving it to me?” The problem is, that staff member never said a single word, like “Give it to me” or anything similar. How was I supposed to know that this person needed to put a paid sticker on the box before handing it over to the weighing staff? The whole interaction was very unpleasant.
On my second visit, I had a similar experience with their unfriendly attitude. I won’t be going back again.
They’ve got a nice variety of grab-and-go options, fresh sandwiches, salads, snacks, drinks, and even coffee. Perfect for a quick breakfast or a mid-day snack.
The store is clean and well-organized. Prices are what you’d expect from a mid-town store, some things might be a bit more expensive than at a regular grocery store, but nothing unreasonable.
It’s packed with a lot of good options. The staff is friendly and helpful, and it’s definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area.
I’ve been working in the area for over a year and a half, and unfortunately, Hudson Market has been my go-to lunch spot simply because there aren’t many other options nearby.
To be blunt: the food is horrendous—a 3 out of 10 at best—and everything is extremely overpriced. Despite that, I’ve been going regularly and spending hundreds of dollars a month here just out of convenience.
Today, I stopped in to grab something for lunch and asked to use the bathroom. The two girls at the counter told me I couldn’t use it unless I made a purchase right then. I explained that I’ve been a loyal customer for over a year and a half and even showed them my credit card app to prove how much I’ve spent there over time.
They still refused to let me use the restroom, completely dismissing everything I said and showed them.
That was the last straw.
I walked out and will not be returning. The food is substandard, the prices are inflated, and it’s clear that customer loyalty means absolutely nothing to this establishment. If you have other options, take them—you’re not missing anything here.
Love the food from the burrito bowl to the teriyaki chicken rice bowl 🫶🏻
Buffet is a little pricey, but delicious !
