The salad bar price is $15/lb - the highest I have seen in midtown. Higher quality than grocery stores, nice and fresh BUT later in the day, at 5:00, sesame chicken and macaroni&cheese were dried out and overcooked. 50% discount offered at 8PM. By then, cold items will be OK but hot, mostly ruined. Wonder, what do they do with their leftovers?
I have stopped by couple of times to buy coffee in the morning. The Asian lady ( I am myself Asian) at the counter is extremely rude. She makes me feel as if I am asking for free coffee. I will not go there again. Three stars as the coffee though expensive is not bad.
3 stars for the locations and convenience of grabbing things you forget to buy in your usual shopping places. I appreciate the importance of supporting community-based stores; however, I have encountered consistent issues over the past six years. There have been instances of spoiled fruits and overcharging, which is concerning. I alwaysrequest a receipt for my purchases.
